Eternity Is Forever. Do You Know Jesus?

John 3:1-21  (HCSB)

There was a man from the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews.  This man came to Him at night and said, “Rabbi, we know that You have come from God as a teacher, for no one could perform these signs You do unless God were with him.”

Jesus replied, “I assure you: Unless someone is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

“But how can anyone be born when he is old?” Nicodemus asked Him. “Can he enter his mother’s womb a second time and be born?”

Jesus answered, “I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.  Whatever is born of the flesh is flesh, and whatever is born of the Spirit is spirit.  Do not be amazed that I told you that you must be born again.  The wind blows where it pleases, and you hear its sound, but you don’t know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.”

“How can these things be?” asked Nicodemus.

“Are you a teacher of Israel and don’t know these things?” Jesus replied. “I assure you: We speak what We know and We testify to what We have seen, but you do not accept Our testimony. If I have told you about things that happen on earth and you don’t believe, how will you believe if I tell you about things of heaven?  No one has ascended into heaven except the One who descended from heaven—the Son of Man. Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,  so that everyone who believes in Him will have eternal life.

“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.  For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.  Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

“This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.  For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed.  But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so that his works may be shown to be accomplished by God.”

Galatians 5 (HCSB)

Christ has liberated us to be free. Stand firm then and don’t submit again to a yoke of slavery.  Take note! I, Paul, tell you that if you get yourselves circumcised, Christ will not benefit you at all.  Again I testify to every man who gets himself circumcised that he is obligated to keep the entire law.

You who are trying to be justified by the law are alienated from Christ; you have fallen from grace.  For through the Spirit, by faith, we eagerly wait for the hope of righteousness.  For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision accomplishes anything; what matters is faith working through love.

You were running well. Who prevented you from obeying the truth?  This persuasion did not come from the One who called you.  A little yeast leavens the whole lump of dough.  I have confidence in the Lord you will not accept any other view. But whoever it is that is confusing you will pay the penalty.

Now brothers, if I still preach circumcision, why am I still persecuted? In that case the offense of the cross has been abolished.  I wish those who are disturbing you might also get themselves castrated!

For you were called to be free, brothers; only don’t use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but serve one another through love.  For the entire law is fulfilled in one statement: Love your neighbor as yourself. But if you bite and devour one another, watch out, or you will be consumed by one another.

I say then, walk by the Spirit and you will not carry out the desire of the flesh.  For the flesh desires what is against the Spirit, and the Spirit desires what is against the flesh; these are opposed to each other, so that you don’t do what you want.  But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Now the works of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, moral impurity, promiscuity,  idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, selfish ambitions, dissensions, factions, envy, drunkenness, carousing, and anything similar. I tell you about these things in advance—as I told you before—that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.  Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.  Since we live by the Spirit, we must also follow the Spirit.  We must not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.

Matthew 22:34-40

When the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they came together.  And one of them, an expert in the law, asked a question to test Him:  “Teacher, which command in the law is the greatest?”

He said to him, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the greatest and most important command.  The second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself. All the Law and the Prophets depend on these two commands.”

Mark 10:17-31

As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up, knelt down before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

 “Why do you call Me good?” Jesus asked him. “No one is good but One—God.

You know the commandments:

Do not murder;
do not commit adultery;
do not steal;
do not bear false witness;
do not defraud;
honor your father and mother.”
He said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these from my youth.”

Then, looking at him, Jesus loved him and said to him, “You lack one thing: Go, sell all you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow Me.”  But he was stunned at this demand, and he went away grieving, because he had many possessions.

Jesus looked around and said to His disciples, “How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!”  But the disciples were astonished at His words. Again Jesus said to them, “Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!  It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.”

So they were even more astonished, saying to one another, “Then who can be saved?”

Looking at them, Jesus said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God, because all things are possible with God.”

Peter began to tell Him, “Look, we have left everything and followed You.”

“I assure you,” Jesus said, “there is no one who has left house, brothers or sisters, mother or father, children, or fields because of Me and the gospel,  who will not receive 100 times more, now at this time—houses, brothers and sisters, mothers and children, and fields, with persecutions—and eternal life in the age to come.  But many who are first will be last, and the last first.”

Matthew 25:1-13 (HCSB)

“Then the kingdom of heaven will be like 10 virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the groom.  Five of them were foolish and five were sensible. When the foolish took their lamps, they didn’t take olive oil with them.  But the sensible ones took oil in their flasks with their lamps.  Since the groom was delayed, they all became drowsy and fell asleep.

“In the middle of the night there was a shout: ‘Here’s the groom! Come out to meet him.’ “Then all those virgins got up and trimmed their lamps.  But the foolish ones said to the sensible ones, ‘Give us some of your oil, because our lamps are going out.’  “The sensible ones answered, ‘No, there won’t be enough for us and for you. Go instead to those who sell, and buy oil for yourselves.’

“When they had gone to buy some, the groom arrived. Then those who were ready went in with him to the wedding banquet, and the door was shut.

“Later the rest of the virgins also came and said, ‘Master, master, open up for us!’

“But he replied, ‘I assure you: I do not know you!’

 “Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour.

  1. We must make every attempt to be physically baptised (immersed) in water just as Jesus himself did. This is a proclamation of accepting Jesus as your Savior and being cleansed of all Sin. We die to self when we enter the water and come up cleansed as a new creation in Christ Jesus. When we get baptised in water, we are making a commitment to follow Jesus.

  2. From Wendi Lee —

    I received this Word from Father God Yahweh at 7:45 pm on 24 March 2016:

    Daughter of Mine Own Heart, and of My Son Yeshua’s Own Heart, write the Words that you received from My Holy Throne Room washed down with honey, write My Beautiful Child:

    Father is truly tired of seeing My Children participate in things they shouldn’t. It is not becoming of My Saints to be holding on to anything of this world; and putting those things before My Son. Let Father talk about baptism of water. Saints, what did My Son first need to do before He began My Work? If My Son was dunked into water before He began; what makes you think that you O man, do not need to? As you are baptized, it is symbolic of renewal of your soul, body, and spirit, and to wash away your sins in complete repentance to My Son. Man has twisted My Holy Scriptures telling you that it is not necessary to be baptized, this is a complete lie from your adversary the devil. My Son set the example for all things, and I, Father Yahweh expect My Saint’s obedience in it. Yes, you must be baptized by someone who is ordained by Me. Pray, and I will lead you to who has that authority. As for baptizing your little ones; you may have them baptized as well, for all may be cleansed symbolically. You do not know what the age of accountability is; no man knows. My Little Ones love their God, until they pass that certain age, and knowledge is given to them of My Truths to where they have understanding of it. Do not listen to man, My Saints. Come into prayer with Me, through My Holy Son, and I will lead and direct you concerning this. Father God Yahweh Elohim Eternal, man has corrupted My Holy Word; do not listen to man! Has spoken!
