Deny Knowing Jesus? – Lake Of Fire Awaits you!

For me, I refuse to deny the Lord.  I won’t go along with anyone’s request to even pretend I don’t know the Lord, even if it means cutting ties with them.

No excuses will be allowed in this area!  Not even when someone is threatening our lives or one of our family members.

Our Works Will Not Guarantee Entry Into The Kingdom!  Only truly knowing Jesus will do that;  by accepting him as your Lord and Savior, repenting of sin.  No sin will ever enter the Kingdom and that includes the sin of unforgiveness.  Repeating a sinners prayer does not always guarantee salvation — the Lord knows our hearts.

Even the most loving, kind person that gives to the community can end up in Hell because they did not know the Lord.  Seek the Lord while you still can.

Luke 12:8-12

8 “And I say to you, anyone who acknowledges Me before men, the Son of Man will also acknowledge him before the angels of God,

9 but whoever denies Me before men will be denied before the angels of God. 10 Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but the one who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven. 11 Whenever they bring you before synagogues and rulers and authorities, don’t worry about how you should defend yourselves or what you should say. 12 For the Holy Spirit will teach you at that very hour what must be said.”

Matthew 10:32-39

32 “Therefore, everyone who will acknowledge Me before men, I will also acknowledge him before My Father in heaven.

33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.

34 Don’t assume that I came to bring peace on the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to turn a man against his father,
a daughter against her mother,
a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;
36 and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household.
37 The person who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; the person who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And whoever doesn’t take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. 39 Anyone finding his life will lose it, and anyone losing his life because of Me will find it.

1 John 2:22-23

22 Who is the liar, if not the one who denies that Jesus is the Messiah? This one is the antichrist: the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23 No one who denies the Son can have the Father; he who confesses the Son has the Father as well.

2 John 1:7-11

7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8 Watch yourselves so you don’t lose what we have worked for, but that you may receive a full reward. 9 Anyone who does not remain in Christ’s teaching but goes beyond it, does not have God. The one who remains in that teaching, this one has both the Father and the Son. 10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your home, and don’t say, “Welcome,” to him; 11 for the one who says, “Welcome,” to him shares in his evil works.

John 14:6

6 Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

2 Timothy 2:10-13

10 This is why I endure all things for the elect: so that they also may obtain salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. 11 This saying is trustworthy:

For if we have died with Him,
we will also live with Him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with Him;
if we deny Him, He will also deny us;
13 if we are faithless, He remains faithful,
for He cannot deny Himself.

Luke 9:25-26

25 What is a man benefited if he gains the whole world, yet loses or forfeits himself? 26 For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory and that of the Father and the holy angels.

Titus 1:15-16

15 To the pure, everything is pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; in fact, both their mind and conscience are defiled. 16 They profess to know God, but they deny Him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, and disqualified for any good work.

Matthew 7:21-23

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord!’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to Me, ‘Lord, Lord, didn’t we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’ 23 Then I will announce to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!’

Matthew 7:7-8

7 “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

“Ring Of Fire” — Maybe a nice old tune, but it gets the point across.

  1. The news is reporting these stories in a strange way. There doesn’t seem to be any urgency behind some leader attacking with nuclear weapons. It’s becoming increasingly impossible to weed out what is true and what is fabricated. No doubt that’s part of the plan and no doubt something’s going to happen.

    Great lesson James…

    I can’t for the life of me understand why anyone who is a Christian would ever (for any reason) deny God. It just doesn’t make any sense to me???

    When I read the Bible particularly the scriptures about Jesus’ life and death and how He was asked to deny He was the Son of God, I can visualize them wanting Him to deny God to save Himself. I can feel His resolve not to save Himself but to honor His Father, carrying out His plan. It is what I will use as my example if ever I’m put in that position. The picture in my mind will be His face, the light and the knowledge He has provided us, along with His promise and His love… all this will give me strength. I know He will not forsake us.

    Again, so how does one deny Him (after knowing Him) when one knows what He did for each one of us? He had a choice and He chose truth, His Father and us. WOW! Who can deny that…

  2. Vicki, I noticed the same thing on the info. From the Common Sense show with supposed insiders, to an article from the head of Guam……..I do think it’s supposed to be this way to play their evil little games.

    A huge amen to not denying the Lord and not understanding how………Praying strength for each one of us and souls. Many do not understand the possibility of how bad all this will be. We’ve not seen war on our soil before. I honestly can’t say how I’ll react, but since we’ve been preparing our hearts for a long time I believe Holy Spirit will lead us fully in all areas.

    1. Hi Vicki & Sonshine, I think your noses are finely attuned to smelling the fishiness in the news. It does seem like we’re being read a cheesy script to provide cover for what’s about to happen.

      The following verse is about judgment on Babylon, which I take to include America:

      “Behold, the day of the Lord is coming,
      Cruel, with fury and burning anger,
      To make the land a desolation;
      And He will exterminate its sinners from it.
      For the stars of heaven and their constellations
      Will not flash forth their light;
      And the moon will not shed its light.” – Isaiah 13:9-10

      Check out this map of the solar eclipse this month:

      It starts in the Pacific Ocean, ends in the Atlantic Ocean and sweeps across one nation only – the USA. There was a lunar eclipse earlier this year. And out here in the West, forest fires have created a smoky haze all month that dims the starlight.

      1. There’s going to be much behind the scenes with this eclipse….. witchcraft at an all time high and a need to intercede for the victims and perpetrators….

        I saw an article on my front page. Making msm this is really going to start a war on believers. Using a fake believer in a position like this……….on national news….to say God is ok with Trump taking out NK 😦

  3. The eclipse will be partial for us also and long term forecast says its going to rain 😦

    1. Thanks for sharing that Vicki. It’s similar to the one by Dahboo77. I believe all of these signs (August 21 & September 23) are a wake-up call/warning that nobody will be able to say they didn’t see or hear about. All of us should heed these warnings by staying prepared.

      Genesis 1:14
      Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years;

      Matthew 24:29-30
      “Immediately after the tribulation of those days:
      The sun will be darkened,
      and the moon will not shed its light;
      the stars will fall from the sky,
      and the celestial powers will be shaken.
      “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

      Luke 21:25-28
      “Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves. People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken. Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near!”

      Luke 21:34-36
      “Be on your guard, so that your minds are not dulled from carousing, drunkenness, and worries of life, or that day will come on you unexpectedly like a trap. For it will come on all who live on the face of the whole earth. But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place and to stand before the Son of Man.”

      Acts 2:17-21
      And it will be in the last days, says God,
      that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity;
      then your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
      your young men will see visions,
      and your old men will dream dreams.
      I will even pour out My Spirit
      on My male and female slaves in those days,
      and they will prophesy.
      I will display wonders in the heaven above
      and signs on the earth below:
      blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.
      The sun will be turned to darkness
      and the moon to blood
      before the great and remarkable Day of the Lord comes.
      Then everyone who calls
      on the name of the Lord will be saved.

      Joel 2:28-32
      After this I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity;
      then your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
      your old men will have dreams,
      and your young men will see visions.
      I will even pour out My Spirit
      on the male and female slaves in those days.

      I will display wonders in the heavens and on the earth:
      blood, fire, and columns of smoke.
      The sun will be turned to darkness
      and the moon to blood
      before the great and awe-inspiring Day of the Lord comes.
      Then everyone who calls on the name of Yahweh will be saved,
      for there will be an escape for those on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem,
      as the Lord promised, among the survivors the Lord calls.

  4. I have only once been directly asked if i believe in Jesus at work by my boss as a fresh believer. Back then i managed to say yes with an barely audible voice.

    But i did say yes and nowadays its common knowledge who Stig-Ove is at my workplace.

    But in the future this question might hold the future of oneself in line, life/death. An example comes to mind that i mentioned before what might happen.

    In Brazil the Sendero luminoso a communist guerilla attacked a village and rounded up the people in the church and asked who will deny Jesus and live? A majority of the people stepped forward and the leader proceeded to execute those who denied Christ as people who stood for nothing!

    The rest were spared, these things might happen in the future also if one will not stand for eternity and Christ when it matters!

  6. I tune into the news sometimes…today was one of those days. Thought I’d have a listen while having my morning coffee. My choice on this morning was NBC, the Today Show. I listen to several so I can try and distinguish some truth. I know, silly right.? Sometimes though it’s purely for hearing what the lie of the day is.
    They kept mentioning a story coming up about a archeological dig in Jerusalem where a Roman coin was found and a grave site. So I continued to listen, waiting for this story. The reporter who did the story was very respectful as she told of the find. When the reporter was finished they went back to the studio and talked about the story. As others tried to have a serious conversation, Sanvanna interjected disrespect about it, about the coins found and the possibility that the bodies found are those of a few of the deciplies. There were several comments…a mocking of sorts. She was determined to make jokes about the story and laughed at herself. One of the things she said was comparing the find to them having the “Orange room” on their set. She said, “oh well, so…we have the orange room”. Then she laughed.

    So what is the Orange room and why or how could a room (of any color) on a TV set ever be compared to a historical find, especially one that has a connection to Jesus. I don’t have the answer, I only know how sad it makes me feel that it was.

    My point, I’m grieved of the “in our face” disrespect” to all things Holy. Also, I see it as a denial of our Lord and the respect He deserves. This is not the first time I’ve heard this sort of thing on that show when a story is about the Lord, or something to do with our Lord. Prayers needed for them.

    1. Vicki,
      In agreement about prayers — soon it will be too late for many people. I believe many will be destroyed suddenly and those left will be searching to hear the truth from those gathered in the name of Jesus. They won’t be going to a “MegaChurch” to get more sugar-coated messages, — they will want to know what is going on and what can they do to be saved. I also believe many Church Buildings will be destroyed because God is not in them — only man with his false Idols and man-made doctrines. Once the televisions and internet are gone — you will see how quickly many “Famous Preachers” that are still left, will find themselves in a state of panic and not able to help those seeking the truth.

  8. Sharing another amazing testimony —
    About a week ago I heard scratching noises coming from the attic area in one of the spare bedrooms. I prayed and asked the Lord to remove them. When the painter was here a month ago, he had removed screen from the attic vent, stating that there was an interior screen that prevented entry of pests. That may be true what he stated, but I sensed that there was a gap between the outer wall and the interior screen.
    I saw “droppings” on the air conditioner unit, as well as the foundation ledge near the side of the house where the attic vent is. I swept all of that away yesterday. This morning — no signs of anything. I haven’t heard any noises in the attic for sometime now. Not sure if these were squirrels or bats, as we have many of both of these creatures here.

    Anyway, I praise the Lord for the outcome as he delivers on the promises of what we ask in faith 🙂

    1. James, you encourage me. Those areas are the very ones I am forgetful and need to realize it is God who doesn’t want these critters around us, our property. They destroy and carry diseases. I went to the natural with traps and need to simply pray!
      Our AC went out this week and to me it’s a praise. We don’t need to be accustomed to air conditioning and it’s tolerable this time of year as it is. The thing is, with herds of cattle around I need to pray over the flies our screens let in under the bottom of ill fitting screens! Thank you for the praise and the reminder!

    Waiting on God
    “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!” Isaiah 30:18

    Have you ever noticed that God is not in a hurry? It took 40 years for Moses to receive his commission to lead the people out of Egypt. It took 17 years of preparation before Joseph was delivered from slavery and imprisonment. It took 20 years before Jacob was released from Laban’s control. Abraham and Sarah were in their old age when they finally received the son of promise, Isaac. So why isn’t God in a hurry?

    God called each of these servants to accomplish a certain task in His Kingdom, yet He was in no hurry to bring their mission into fulfillment. First, He accomplished what He wanted in them. We are often more focused on outcome than the process that He is accomplishing in our lives each day. When we experience His presence daily, one day we wake up and realize that God has done something special in and through our lives. However, the accomplishment is no longer what excites us. Instead, what excites us is knowing Him. Through those times, we become more acquainted with His love, grace, and power in our lives. When this happens, we are no longer focused on the outcome because the outcome is a result of our walk with Him. It is not the goal of our walk, but the by-product. Hence, when Joseph came to power in Egypt, he probably couldn’t have cared less. He had come to a place of complete surrender so that he was not anxious about tomorrow or his circumstances.

    This is the lesson for us. We must wait for God’s timing and embrace wherever we are in the process. When we find contentment in that place, we begin to experience God in ways we never thought possible.

  11. 2 Corinthians 2:14-17
    But thanks be to God, who always puts us on display in Christ and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place. For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing.
    To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. And who is competent for this?

    For we are not like the many who market God’s message for profit. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God.

    1 Corinthians 2:10-16
    Now God has revealed these things to us by the Spirit, for the Spirit searches everything, even the depths of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the spirit of the man that is in him? In the same way, no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

    Now we have not received the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who comes from God, so that we may understand what has been freely given to us by God. We also speak these things, not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual things to spiritual people.

    But the unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God’s Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually.

    The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. For who has known the Lord’s mind,
    that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.

  12. (The Lord does not care about our status in the community, nor our titles nor our human viewed characteristics, nor our sinful pasts. We are to remain humble and never allow pride to enter in. Many use the term “I” to seek praise from their church members/audience, when instead that Glory should be going to the Lord. The Lord can use anyone to get his message out, if they have repented and accepted him as their Lord and Savior).

    1 Corinthians 1:26-31

    Brothers, consider your calling: Not many are wise from a human perspective, not many powerful, not many of noble birth. Instead, God has chosen what is foolish in the world to shame the wise, and God has chosen what is weak in the world to shame the strong. God has chosen what is insignificant and despised in the world—what is viewed as nothing—to bring to nothing what is viewed as something, so that no one can boast in His presence. But it is from Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who became God-given wisdom for us—our righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, in order that, as it is written: The one who boasts must boast in the Lord.

    1. The “I” goes in the brokenness when He deals with those areas that may be hindering us, Him through us and, “they,” those who may be missed if pride it in the way. It’s a sneaky thing in so many areas…….It’s painful when he points out this and other areas in the brokenness, yet also an area of praise. Can we truly “see” if we are not broken? Pondering all this the past several days. So much written on what is to come and by so many including myself. If “I” is there, is it all God? Are there confirmations purely from Him? Still pondering………..

      Asking for prayer for a new friend and neighbor. He’s a vietnam vet and his sons birthday is today. He is uncertain in seeing him……….There’s been much separation with both his son and daughter since he became a Christian. He’s dealing with depression over this and more…….his daughter hasn’t spoken to him in 8 years………his best friend who was on the frontlines with him moved this past week also.

    1. Starting to get some confirmation from NL’s post but need much more from Holy Spirit. NK will be the scapegoat is what I am hearing and still need more confirmation. Also, the blue/light blue could be the sky (in other words this is coming from above) and yes, it is the Freemasons/evil etc no doubt there

      …………with the upcoming eclipse and the “popeye” standing under the portals………praying over all this. I got a glimpse, a short vision, if you will of the pope gathering evil from above during the eclipse which is also tied into the guidestones.
      I’m sure this sounds off the wall. Just seeking Him for confirmation and clarity on it all.

    1. One of the things Jack states — It’s not complicated to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, it was never meant to be! You can come to the Lord just as you are, no matter what your circumstances are or the sin you are in — All have the opportunity to eternal life.

      John 3:16-18
      For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. Anyone who believes in Him is not condemned, but anyone who does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of the One and Only Son of God.

  14. The Word tells us in a number of places that God is NOT a respecter of persons. A friend also recently heard the Lord say, “You do not have to be smart to have faith.” This supports (in one aspect) the Scripture that God is NOT a respecter of persons.

    “Ho, EVERYONE that thirsts, COME YE to the WATERS.” (The Bible)

    1. No we do not have to be smart to have faith or to believe in Jesus as our Saviour. We just need to do both. That is, believe and have faith. The word of of God is written that a child may understand. We only need ears to hear and eyes to see.

    2. “Smart” meaning a certain intelligence level.. …Actually this word was given at church when I know for a fact there was one mentally challenged person there. Perhaps that person was thinking that the Gospel Message was not for him because he wasn’t “smart enough.” Again, God is NOT a respecter of persons. God wanted him to know that he could still HAVE FAITH and receive the Lord!
