All Things Subject To Christ Jesus

Our walk with the Lord is now totally based on faith.   When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, repent of all sin, stop continuing in our sin, forgive everyone — we will have a change in character.  The new person (character) comes from receiving the Holy Spirit; where faith in the Lord brings conviction of ALL SIN and not based on a checklist.  It is the Lord’s grace that carries us to our eternal place of glory.

Prior to Jesus bearing the weight of the worlds sins upon himself; it was required that a checklist was followed in order to become worthy in the sight of God.   We no longer need such a checklist when we have true conviction from the Holy Spirit. With this conviction, we will not want to Sin in any form — written or unwritten.  If we totally rely on a written check list, we truly do not hear from the Holy Spirit and instead are much like the Scribes and Pharisees during the time Jesus was living among the people.  

If we only base sin on what is written down and not from being convicted by the Holy Spirit; we have little faith and have just placed the Lord in a box.  

Let the Lord out of the box and ask him to reveal the truth in everything, including what he does not find pleasing. He will talk with you, just give him the opportunity to do it.

When we fall, we ask for forgiveness and keep on moving forward.   We can’t keep returning back to the sin we have been forgiven from; as this will be inviting Satan back into our lives and we could end up in eternity forever removed from the presence of God. How many times do we need to nail Jesus back on the cross when we continue to repeat sin we have been forgiven from?

There’s the old saying — you can’t hold hands with Jesus and hold hands with the Devil at the same time!

Jesus is our High Priest/mediator; as we no longer need to go to a Priest in a temple to repent and offer required sacrifices.   Jesus was the ultimate sacrifice.   Without him, all of us would be heading into the Lake Of Fire.  We can’t enter into the Kingdom with even a small sin; so wouldn’t it be better to keep your robes washed clean daily and talk to the Lord?   Do you think the Lord will accept the excuse of “Well, that sin wasn’t found in the Bible”???  Jesus will return in an instant and nobody knows the exact day or time that will be.

Do you really want to risk the Lord saying “Depart From Me”?

Read the Word of God for yourselves and never rely on anything I say or what others are saying.

We need to have faith that whatever we ask in the name of Jesus, it will be given unto us.  Faith is what will guide us and protect us during the upcoming storms.

Philippians 3:21

He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His glorious body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself.

Philippians 2:5-11

Make your own attitude that of Christ Jesus,  who, existing in the form of God,
did not consider equality with God
as something to be used for His own advantage.
Instead He emptied Himself by assuming the form of a slave,
taking on the likeness of men.  And when He had come as a man
in His external form, 

He humbled Himself by becoming obedient
to the point of death— even to death on a cross.
For this reason God highly exalted Him
and gave Him the name that is above every name,

so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow—
of those who are in heaven and on earth
and under the earth—
and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Colossians 1:15-20

He is the image of the invisible God,
the firstborn over all creation.
For everything was created by Him,
in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible,
whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—
all things have been created through Him and for Him.
He is before all things, and by Him all things hold together.
He is also the head of the body, the church;
He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead,
so that He might come to have first place in everything.

For God was pleased to have all His fullness dwell in Him,
and through Him to reconcile everything to Himself
by making peace through the blood of His cross
whether things on earth or things in heaven.

Galatians 3:10-14

For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written: Everyone who does not continue doing everything written in the book of the law is cursed.

Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith.

But the law is not based on faith; instead, the one who does these things will live by them.  Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed. The purpose was that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles by Christ Jesus, so that we could receive the promised Spirit through faith.

1 Corinthians 15:20-28

But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.  For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead also comes through a man.  For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.  But each in his own order: Christ, the firstfruits; afterward, at His coming, those who belong to Christ.  Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He abolishes all rule and all authority and power.  For He must reign until He puts all His enemies under His feet.  The last enemy to be abolished is death.  For God has put everything under His feet. But when it says “everything” is put under Him, it is obvious that He who puts everything under Him is the exception.  And when everything is subject to Christ, then the Son Himself will also be subject to the One who subjected everything to Him, so that God may be all in all.

Hebrews 1:1-4

Long ago God spoke to the fathers by the prophets at different times and in different ways.  In these last days, He has spoken to us by His Son. God has appointed Him heir of all things and made the universe through Him.  The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact expression of His nature, sustaining all things by His powerful word. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high. So He became higher in rank than the angels, just as the name He inherited is superior to theirs.

Hebrews 2:5-12

For He has not subjected to angels the world to come that we are talking about.  But one has somewhere testified: What is man that You remember him,
or the son of man that You care for him?
You made him lower than the angels for a short time;
You crowned him with glory and honor
and subjected everything under his feet.
For in subjecting everything to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. As it is, we do not yet see everything subjected to him.  But we do see Jesus—made lower than the angels for a short time so that by God’s grace He might taste death for everyone—crowned with glory and honor because of His suffering in death.  For in bringing many sons to glory, it was entirely appropriate that God—all things exist for Him and through Him—should make the source of their salvation perfect through sufferings.  For the One who sanctifies and those who are sanctified all have one Father. That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers,  saying: I will proclaim Your name to My brothers;
I will sing hymns to You in the congregation.

John 1:1-5

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.  He was with God in the beginning.
All things were created through Him,
and apart from Him not one thing was created
that has been created.
Life was in Him, and that life was the light of men.
That light shines in the darkness,
yet the darkness did not overcome it.

John 5:24-29

“I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.   “I assure you: An hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.  For just as the Father has life in Himself, so also He has granted to the Son to have life in Himself.  And He has granted Him the right to pass judgment, because He is the Son of Man.  Do not be amazed at this, because a time is coming when all who are in the graves will hear His voice and come out—those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.

John 17:1-5

Jesus spoke these things, looked up to heaven, and said:  Father,
the hour has come.  Glorify Your Son
so that the Son may glorify You,
for You gave Him authority over all flesh;
so He may give eternal life to all You have given Him.
This is eternal life: that they may know You, the only true God,
and the One You have sent—Jesus Christ.
I have glorified You on the earth
by completing the work You gave Me to do.
Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presence
with that glory I had with You before the world existed.

1 Peter 3:22

Now that He has gone into heaven, He is at God’s right hand with angels, authorities, and powers subject to Him.

Acts 1:7-8

He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority.  But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Matthew 28:18

Then Jesus came near and said to them, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.
