Patience, Patience, Patience

Patience is what all of us need.  We need to be patient with one another, for the lost and always be patient with ourselves and wait on the Lord.   All of our prayers are heard, but they are answered in the Lord’s perfect timing.   Sometimes we wait because the Lord has prompted others to do something and they refuse to listen.

Patience1

The definition of patience in Merriam-Webster dictionary:

  1.  bearing pains or trials calmly or without complaint.
  2.  manifesting forbearance under provocation or strain.

Proverbs 16:32  Patience is better than power, and controlling one’s temper, than capturing a city.

Proverbs 19:11 A person’s insight gives him patience, and his virtue is to overlook an offense.

Proverbs 25:15 A ruler can be persuaded through patience, and a gentle tongue can break a bone.

Romans 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.

Galatians 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, 23 gentleness, self-control. Against such things there is no law.

Ephesians 4:1-3

Therefore I, the prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk worthy of the calling you have received, 2 with all humility and gentleness, with patience, accepting one another in love, 3 diligently keeping the unity of the Spirit with the peace that binds us.

Colossians 3:12  Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience,

1 Timothy 1:16 But I received mercy for this reason, so that in me, the worst of them, Christ Jesus might demonstrate His extraordinary patience as an example to those who would believe in Him for eternal life.

2 Timothy 4:2 Proclaim the message; persist in it whether convenient or not; rebuke, correct, and encourage with great patience and teaching.

Matthew 7:7-12

7 “Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and the one who searches finds, and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 What man among you, if his son asks him for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11 If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! 12 Therefore, whatever you want others to do for you, do also the same for them—this is the Law and the Prophets.

Matthew 6:25-34

25 “This is why I tell you: Don’t worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? 27 Can any of you add a single cubit to his height by worrying? 28 And why do you worry about clothes? Learn how the wildflowers of the field grow: they don’t labor or spin thread. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was adorned like one of these! 30 If that’s how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and thrown into the furnace tomorrow, won’t He do much more for you—you of little faith? 31 So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. 34 Therefore don’t worry about tomorrow, because tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

  1. Patience is a virtue they say and we could all use more of that. Waiting can be hard because we live in a society that wants everything NOW and can’t wait.

    1. Very true Anna. I watched a live “Christian” broadcast the other day and was disgusted when I heard someone say they commanded the Lord to do something! Really? We should never ever command the Lord to do anything, we ask but never demand. When we start listening to demons, they will tempt people to think that Pride will be overlooked by the Lord. In this particular broadcast they were talking about being impatient for healing.

    1. well that made me giggle. Like they are really going to hide from God. Even their bunkers will become their tombs.
someone had a dream or vision that showed AI robots killing them in their bunkers. So these luciferians are definitely been deceived by their Lucifer, aka ..satan. Too bad they took his DNA though.

    2. The video posted above “Elites Preparing the Space Ark” was published by BPEarthwatch on July 13, 2017. They talk about Elon Musk who is the owner of a company called “SpaceX” and has plans to colonize mars. He wants to offer rides there to people at a cost of $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 per person. This all sounded like the Science Fiction movie I referred to, but unfortunately it is real life.

  3. It’s enough to make a person angry due to their nonchalance when it comes to doing away with people…. Yet …. When we see how very deceived and blinded they are..
There’s hope for some. Look at Pauls life before he got knocked off his high horse.

That level of deception is scary. Well, any level is.

    Overlooking Offenses
“A man’s wisdom gives him patience; it is to his glory to overlook an offense.” Proverbs 19:11

I have a friend who tells a story of a lesson the Lord taught him through his wife. It seems that every time he and his wife would get in the car to travel somewhere, his wife had a strong need to direct his driving. She would tell him where to turn and when to turn, even in their own subdivision. It was such a horrible habit that it drove my friend crazy and became the source of many an argument. Finally, one day my friend concluded that the Lord was trying to teach him something through this experience. He decided he would let go of his need to be free from this correction. He began to affirm his wife and even thank her for her input. It was excruciatingly painful to do this from where he sat.

A few months passed. He let go of the entire situation and actually got to a place where it just didn’t matter to him anymore. An interesting thing happened a few months later. One day his wife looked at him and said, “John, I just realized that I have been directing your driving all these years and now realize why I do that. It goes back to my childhood when I had to direct my younger brothers and sisters. I am so sorry I have been doing that.” My friend nearly fell out of his seat!

Whenever we work close to another person, whether in an office or home, small offenses can become the source of great conflict. Resentment and irritability soon follow. God brings these “offenses” into our lives to develop character qualities in us. He uses individuals in our lives to accomplish his goal of making us more Christ-like. So the next time you complain or resist a habit or action from someone close to you, ask God if it has been placed there to develop some quality in you. Pride is the root source of the need to change another person. A man’s wisdom gives him patience-to let go of little offenses. This is where spiritual maturity is seen in the day-to-day activity of life. Is there someone close to you who has some habit you really want to change? Give up that desire to the Lord. Who knows, He may even change it after you let go of the need to change it.

  5. This is a bit off topic, but I want to address it any way. I watched a documentary last night about “Hollow Earth”. As I was looking at it, all I could think about is “Illuminati/Luciferians/Global Elite” have developed this theory. They were even mocking stories in the Bible. To me, this was all created for the purpose of bringing doubt to those with little faith. You could see how they were using this as a stage to tell people that the Bible was wrong and that these creatures under the earth were going to save the people above it!!!!

    1. This is why I stopped going to movies and watching TV for good. it is all mind manipulation/programming and it works! God took me off of these things long ago. Even the so called Christian movies have NEW AGE and MYSTICISM intertwined in them and so are of the occultic side. I refuse to go to them and it is very obvious just watching the trailer. Discernment necessary in all things these days like never before.

      1. Amen. Not to seem pious or religious, but we don’t have a TV and for the most part have stopped going to movies. We watch things on our computer. That’s about it.

The mind control programming is real and dangerous. I see it in people all around me. Their perception of reality is influenced heavily by the stories and agendas presented on that glowing screen.

About 10 years ago my wife and I decided we didn’t want to have a TV. We weren’t walking really closely with God at the time and weren’t awake to the New World Order and end times, but we intuitively felt it would better if we just didn’t have one. We’re both active, so we would rather go for a mountain bike ride or to the gym than watch TV. Maybe that helped us wake up.

        1. AMEN Mike. So true what you stated. Did you ever notice that whatever was on the commercial you wanted that to eat. If it was ice cream, you went and looked in your freezer to see if you had any. lol. They did studies on this manipulation and marketing and it was proven long ago that they could make you accept whatever they wanted you to accept or buy. So, it is throughout the shows and movies on tv also. I could care less about watching it now. I don’t miss it and it makes people lazy. Some are so addicted to their “boob tubes” they run to that tv as soon as they get home after work. It is insane really. What was life like before the boob tube (I feel tv makes you stupid)?
People actually did things in the evenings at home or out. Now, people are also lost in their phone apps which are just as bad. SAD ………….:(

I do own a Television, but it is primarily used as a monitor — I use for my computer and also watch Youtube videos/movies on it. I haven’t gone to any movies for years and only recently found inexpensive True Christian movies that I can watch at home. We have about a dozen television stations here, as I only signed up for the cheap local broadcasts with cable. It’s nice having the many Christian broadcasts available here in Arkansas, which I didn’t have in Branson Area.

More Clarity, Discernment and Wisdom needed for all parts of our lives: Relationships, Jobs, Travel, Prophetic, Sermons, Christian Videos/Broadcasts/Podcasts/Blogs, Where We Are To Be Living, Who We Are To align ourselves with ….. much much more.

      3. Yeah, I don’t want to seem legalistic about not having a TV. I was just thinking of the false or distracting narratives that comes through mainstream news (CNN, FOX) and the anti-Christian values that comes through some shows and movies.

        Liked by 1 person

        1. Mike, don’t buy into that legalism garbage. There is nothing “legalistic” about not having a TV. The Holy Spirit has directed many of us to get off of TV out of love because they program you. Faith is obeying how led and faith without works is dead faith. Bible is clear on this too and when Jesus returns he is bringing his reward with him on YOUR WORKS/DEEDS. So this is not legalism but service to the Father. This is simply called “obedience” and doing as led to do.
I was on FB for years and people that didn’t want to follow how Jesus walked would always say this word “legalism”. Well, Jesus was the most legalistic man there was and he walked and obeyed the Father and did the Father’s work for him while on earth.
This does not mean doing fundraisers at church to please your pastors. that is legalistic because you please man over God & want the world to pat you on the back for being “good” to your church.

we are born to walk in obedience on the narrow road and Jesus demonstrated this walk and he was legalistic to the nines. He followed all God’s commandments, never sinned and showed us how to overcome, do good to others but how to mainly serve the Father and do what the Father loves and wants us to do for him.

Those that continually use that term “legalism” simply won’t follow the way they are to and are saying “leave me alone”. They have believed man’s twisted doctrines over God’s Word.
I was called legalistic because I came out of Babylon and I jumped for joy because that meant I was walking in obedience to the Father and stopped pleasing man and so they hated me as they hated him. Halelujah! I told them they keep getting me one step closer to home. lol lol….
The point is that term “legalism” is a lie again from the enemy.

          Like

      4. Anna, legalism seems to be a trigger word for you. I am talking about the difference between following religious rules and prescriptions and being led by the Spirit. Like the Apostle Paul said, if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law. If the Spirit is leading you to do something, by all means do it.

I don’t think my wife would mind me sharing this. The Lord convicted her about reading romance novels because it was escapism. Not the lascivious stuff, but Victorian period romances and such. After fumbling back and forth on that issue, one day I found her Kindle in the bath tub under a foot of water. It was ruined. She did it on purpose because it kept tempting her to read them. Not that it’s wrong to have a Kindle (or a TV), but if what’s coming through them is a problem, then the Lord may tell you to get rid of it.

        Like

        1. It is not really a trigger word at all for me Mike. I just wrote about it because most people use that word to not obey God’s commandments. People think their churches are not legalistic but it is there where the bondage still lies. Freedom is in the Word and not following church manmade doctrines and all their regulations. That is all.
Your wife became an overcomer and that is great that she got rid of the temptation.

And as coming to going to space i think the book of Obadiah tells that the Lord will bring them down to earth again.

And third hollow earth is an idea made popular by Edward Bulver Lyttons a coming race but IT has its basis in ancient history. Steve Quayle and others are big on hollow earth and though i dont know all of its specifics where there is smoke there is Fire.

    1. Stig, I’ve seen those holes you mentioned. They were part of the discussion in the presentation video I watched. They mentioned Admiral Byrd and other people too. One thing they talked about was giants currently living down there — we know them as Nephilim.

The giants part was believable, but not all the other stuff — they truly were mocking the Bible by claiming the Garden Of Eden was down there! They even claimed that Cain (Adam’s Son) was still alive and well down there!

They had mentioned how lush it was below earth, then they proceeded to proclaim how peaceful it was down there and even proclaimed that man (Adam) was formed as a giant! They also talked about Aliens living down there — it seemed to be a precursor to how they will try to convince the masses that the “Aliens” are here to save mankind!

    2. Patience unfortunately isn’t my name. If I have any, it was learned the hard way. 🙂

There are at least a couple curious verses about “under the earth”:

“So that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow—of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth” – Philippians 2:10

“But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth was able to open the scroll or even to look in it.” – Revelation 5:3

I don’t know exactly who or what is down there, but I think these references are literal.

      1. This is my confession about my lack of patience….Yes, patience is a virtue…but not one I have much of. My Dad had a great amount of it and trust me it was needed when it came to this child. Not that I was a bad kid, but I kept him busy and challenged with my energy and unending questions. I’m not sure why I didn’t learn from him to be patience. My lack of it in the area of how people saying and doing mean things to others is where I fail. I’m talking about really nasty stuff with no regard for feelings. I see it as the single most awful thing we as a people can do to another. Mostly because it’s so unnecessary and it causes hidden damage to the spirit of those hurt. I see being kind to others as an easy act….so when I’m treated badly or I witness another treated badly I experience a great amount of emotions within. This isn’t good, it leads to judgement and I’m sure a whole host of other sins. We all know how wrong that is. I do pray about this constantly.

I can relate greatly to your post, “Overlooking Offenses”.

    1. Exactly Sonshine. It’s the reason why I have been “catching up” on many videos and posts — I’d rather know what the enemy is planning. Keeping our heads buried in the sand, is what the enemy wants.

The more we learn about those plans, the more we can strengthen our Armor by: prayer, reading the Bible and have conversations with the Lord.

Jesus gave us authority over all forms of evil, but it’s only in his name that we use such authority.

      Mark 16:15-18
15 Then He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to the whole creation. 16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will accompany those who believe: In My name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new languages; 18 they will pick up snakes; if they should drink anything deadly, it will never harm them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will get well.”

      Mark 11:22-26
22 Jesus replied to them, “Have faith in God. 23 I assure you: If anyone says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. 24 Therefore I tell you, all the things you pray and ask for—believe that you have received them, and you will have them. 25 And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven will also forgive you your wrongdoing. 26 But if you don’t forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your wrongdoing.”

      John 14:12-14
12 “I assure you: The one who believes in Me will also do the works that I do. And he will do even greater works than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 Whatever you ask in My name, I will do it so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.

  9. Ah, patience. I was thinking the other day that it means I have to accept God’s timing for things and not push my own sense of urgency or desire to get-it-done! Also patience with the people around me, especially my own family. And patience about God’s timing for the work He has called me to do, which I only understand in general terms.

Yesterday I asked, “What should I do today, Lord?” The answer wasn’t a task. It was to tune in to the flow and direction of his Spirit within me. Whatever He wanted me to do would flow out of that. I feel like He is teaching me to forget about plans and missions and simply operate in the moment by faith.

    1. Amen Mike! God’s timing is indeed perfect and all of us need more patience. It’s always a good idea to have conversations with the Lord any time. He’s always willing to answer our questions, when we quietly give him time to speak to us. One of the excellent sermons I watched on local television was about how we pray…. The preacher mentioned that during our prayer time, we should allow time for this to be a two-way conversation (allow time for the Lord to speak to us too); otherwise, we will be praying and end the conversation before he tells us something.

    1. Still working on mine too and yes, Vicki, someone attacking another one can really cause my flesh to rise if not on guard.
I used to be too “sweet, kind, shy” is what everyone referred to me after being born again…………then some hard knocks (more than I care to count) kept hitting and the anger came in finally, and I mean finally. It was always kept in check from childhood. It’s the Lords way of healing yet it was also a walk through His healing and out of the anger battling balance again.

I give Him all the glory. It’s a walk yet one I can look over and be amazed at how it was all the Lord. It’s like He’s been preparing and healing, then healing and preparing and over again to the point I feel there’s a new Peace in the midst of all. The patience is an area that can mean stepping smack out of the Lords will if not listening…..

Holy Spirit revealed a situation I’m praying over and would also like prayer. It has to do with Masons………so far the only area He has brought up besides prayer is the “how to” approach it and that requires a boldness only He can give me. And patience, the resting and trusting in HIS timing not mine to bring about the whole issue…..

    The Works of the Flesh
“You may say to yourself, ‘My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.'” Deuteronomy 8:17

We’ve all heard someone say, “He’s a self-made man.” What are they saying in this statement? Are they saying that this individual achieved success by his hard work and sweat? Many a person has achieved success through honest hard work. There is a danger for any of us who may have achieved significance through our work. That danger is the belief that we achieved it through our own efforts apart from God’s grace and mercy. When we live in this belief, we assert that we are entitled to certain rights and privileges because of the position we have earned and feel we deserve.

The prodigal son’s brother who refused to celebrate the wayward son’s return was a man who felt he was entitled to certain rights. He saw himself as one who had been faithful to his responsibilities and deserving of more attention. He could not appreciate his brother’s failure and the pain of falling into a sinful life because, in his mind, he had never failed. This pride kept him from experiencing God’s real grace. This is how legalism develops in believers. It grows into a cold heart and an insensitive attitude toward others who may have stumbled in their lives. This same brother did not truly understand the love of his father apart from works; for he felt he gained acceptance only by doing his job.

Do you feel accepted by God, regardless of what you do? Have you wrongfully viewed your works as something you alone have achieved? These are the minefields of which each of us in business must be aware. God has gifted us to accomplish anything through His grace, not by our works.

  11. Masons are a tricky bunch for sure. But depending on the rite they follow Yorkshire or Scottish or the one they say dont exist the Palladian. The trick with low level masons are to show them that they are putting their head in the noose of eternal bondage or being fooled by using citations of masonic luminaries like Albert Pike of low level masons being useful dupes and idiots where the real pearls are to be found out amongst the lower level masons to get the Luciferian initiation described by Manly P Hall and such.

Once they see the mystery religion core of masonry they are faced with a choice, leave or walk towards damnation.

  14. All,
If we are doing what we are being led to do by the Holy Spirit, it truly doesn’t matter what others think.
None of us should follow what other people are doing, unless we are led to do so by the Holy Spirit.
When we follow what others are doing, we can quickly become full of false religious doctrines and useless religious activities.

We need to be careful that we don’t fall for demonic influences coming from the Jezebel Spirit. The Jezebel Spirit is very convincing, demands a lot of attention, and subtly tells everyone that if they don’t do things the way they do, they are not worthy of the Kingdom. The Jezebel Spirit often likes to quote laws that resembles those of pharisees. This thing attaches itself to people and is considered to be one of Satan’s most useful tool. It likes to manipulate and control it’s audience. It seeks to infiltrate and undermine everything it encounters; which often will have people questioning their faith. The person who this thing attaches itself to, usually is not aware of it at all.

The Kundalini Spirit gives out a counterfeit version of the Holy Spirit and it’s purpose is to do Satan’s bidding (seek, kill and destroy) those who are true believers; This thing will also sidetrack many with useless tasks and often cause them distractions for the purpose of taking their focus away from their calling.

What can we do? We can do self-deliverance with the authority given to us in Jesus Name Only!
We can bind these things and send them somewhere (specifically) where they can’t ever return back to us! All of us can be attacked and if we choose to ignore them, they will hang around! They can’t possess a Holy Spirit filled person, but they can cause a lot of harm if we allow them to stay. These things do not care how many Holy Spirit gifts you have!

    Matthew 18:15-20

15 “If your brother sins against you, go and rebuke him in private. If he listens to you, you have won your brother.
16 But if he won’t listen, take one or two more with you, so that by the testimony of two or three witnesses every fact may be established.
17 If he pays no attention to them, tell the church. But if he doesn’t pay attention even to the church, let him be like an unbeliever and a tax collector to you.
18 I assure you: Whatever you bind on earth is already bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth is already loosed in heaven.
19 Again, I assure you: If two of you on earth agree about any matter that you pray for, it will be done for you by My Father in heaven.
20 For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there among them.”

      1. Thank you Lord! Today I was cleaning coops and knew it was going to be hard work. I prayed over myself and husband before we started cleaning. What amazes me is that what used to make me ill, allergies or something out there has been gone, praise You Jesus!

The distraction part though……..I keep seeing too many things come up and go wrong around here lately……..that is a direct attack(s). Good post James!! Caused me to do a hard checkup in the Lord! Time to also do a prayer walk and anoint again

    1. AMEN JC.. People, just do as the Holy Spirit leads you to do and don’t worry about the rest of it all. Satan just wants you to go against God’s truth in His Word anyway. Warfare prayer needed everyday these days like never before.

the jezebel spirit is rampant in churches these days. So is kundalini spirit in some of them too. The Holy Spirit led me out of all of them and I am so glad He did. You can fellowship in homes, in a coffee shop, in a store.

Yes you can bind the Ahab and jezebel spirit and any witchcraft spirits. I do it daily. Ask the Lord to send His Holy Angels to carry these demonic spirits away with confusion to the place He wants them to go!

Just follow Yeshua and He will guide you! 🙂

    2. true story I am going to tell you: Went to some new church and first of all, the people appeared dead like and as if they were there merely out of obligation to have to show up. Secondly, the Pastor does this baptism and then says to the person “now your devotion is to me and this church” and I was like “wow” this man is off his rocker.
So I questioned him and told him that the person he baptized owes their devotion to the Holy Father in heaven and not to him and his church. He didn’t like me after that needless to say. Obviously this one was all about himself and wanted all the tithes, devotion and honor. Glorifying himself.
What I am getting at is this: that is the legalism you need to stay away from. These are manmade and different churches built on sand have made up their own rules, regulations and even appoint you jobs to do for them. This is what was preached against as in the day of the Pharisees with their ritual handwashings etc.
This is why the churches are about to fall. Every man for his own glory ..do the test. Go to 5 of them and listen to how they set up their church programs etc and what they require of you. Notice too that 5 baptist churches let’s say will all be a bit different and this is not us as ONE BODY then as we are to be.
I am glad Abba is about to let them crumble soon.

We are the church if the Holy Spirit is in us. My devotion will never go to some preacher that was never anointed or appointed by God and I won’t elevate them and devote my life to them. My devotion and dedication is to Abba alone. He gets the praise and honor and all the glory!

Serving God, obeying Him is never legalism and works for God is nothing like manmade regulations and rules. Works for God is what the Apostles did; they preached the Good news, repentance and that the kingdom of God is at hand.
See the difference and these works we are to do for the glory of God!

      Love you all.

      1. Thanks for sharing that Anna. Pride is a huge concern in most organized churches. It happens outside of them too — professing Christians often elevate someone because of their gifts/callings instead of giving all of the Glory to the Lord where it belongs.

      2. WOW Anna…amazing how bold and out right the pastors direction was. I wonder, does Satan speak through people who talk/think like that? I never thought of it that way before. But I ask that question to anyone because I feel more and more boldness with those sort of comments and the lies that go with them. I do know that pastors are teaching to worship them and the church, that’s not new to me, I just never heard of one saying it outright. What I’ve experienced is a more sneaky approach. There’s going to be much to answer for, for leading God’s flock astray.

Church is everything to some, they are so attached and so in need that they will follow blindly so not to be turned on or made to leave. Could any of us have ever imagined 40 year’s ago that people would be treated badly in a church? Even made to leave, not embraced or loved and helped through their troubles. I didn’t! Church is not a safe place to go any longer. For me it was….many, many years ago.

        1. yes it shocked me to be honest and what shocked me even more was that those that frequented that church thought nothing of it and gave their devotion to a mere mortal.

  15. I believe it grieves and angers the Lord. Yes, there are saved people in many churches but it was never meant to the the church of this, that and the other. It divides by race, socio-economic, doctrine, you name it. This is an area I’ve posted twice on social media this week. Between pleasing man, money and so on…………judgement

  16. So powerful! Most the people began reacting out of fear rather than the love of Christ. I praise the Lord for the words this wise pastor had during all this:

    1. Thanks for sharing that Sonshine.

There’s been a lot of testimonies posted of people who came out of many “Bad Choices”. Here’s some that come to mind where people are still being held captive and why intercessory prayers are needed. Many modern-day exercise systems are based in New Age Mysticism == most are teaching “Mind, Body & Spirit — Getting in touch with your inner self!”. Don’t believe me, do the research for yourselves.

I went into a “Natural Health Food” store one time and immediately picked up on what some call “White Witchcraft”. I’m not stating this is always true for these places, it just was for this one.

Witchcraft, Satanists, Illuminati, Catholics, Atheists, Muslim, Jehovah Witness, Mormon/ Church Of Latter Day Saints, Scientology, Native American Indian Beliefs, Hinduism, Buddhism, Tarot Cards, Mediums/Psychics, Remote Viewers, Aura Readers, Astrology, Yoga, Pilates, Tai Chi, Zen Meditation….

    2. Beautiful and powerful, yes! It made me cry.

A reminder that ANYTHING and EVERYTHING is possible through Jesus Christ! A good example of how we must not judge but pray to our Lord and Savoir for His mercy for ALL and never stop! It also reminds me to continue to pray for that little country church where I first learned about Jesus and all other churches.

We must never forget where we came from, that long lost road we once traveled. Oh yes and “Patience, Patience, Patience” that is Christ like…we were also once lost and are now found and every last soul deceives our love and caring while they struggled along their journey. After all Jesus waited for us, there was no time clock, He just waited with arms out stretched and embraced us when we showed up. Yes time is running out but its not our job to count the minutes on another person’s life.

I say this as a reminder to myself.

      Blessings,

  17. Daily Devotional — 7/16/17

Seeing Us for What We Will Become
…”The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” Judges 6:12

God always looks at His children for what they will be, not what they are now. The Lord already had seen Gideon as a leader of others, not just a laborer who threshed wheat.

Gideon was an Israelite who lived during a time of oppression from the Midianites. God had allowed Israel to be oppressed because of its rebellion. However, the Israelites cried out to God, and He heard their cry for help. He decided to free them from the oppression of their enemies. God chose a man with little experience in such matters to lead an army against Midian.

When God came to Gideon through a visit by an angel, the angel’s first words to him were, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” God always looks at His children for what they will be, not what they are now. The Lord had already seen this man as a leader of others, not just a laborer who threshed wheat.

The apostle Paul said, “I can do everything through Him who gives me strength” (Phil. 4:13). God has reserved an inheritance for you and me. He has foreordained that we should accomplish great things in His name-not so that we will be accepted or become more valued, but to experience the reality of a living relationship with a God who wants to demonstrate His power through each of us.

What does God want to accomplish through you today? He used Gideon, with only 300 men, to deliver Israel from an army of more than 100,000. He demonstrated His power through one man who was willing to let God use what little faith he had to free a nation from oppression and bring glory to the God of Israel. The Lord delights in showing Himself strong through those who will trust Him.

    Galatians 3 (HCSB)

You foolish Galatians! Who has hypnotized you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was vividly portrayed as crucified?
2 I only want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law or by hearing with faith?
3 Are you so foolish? After beginning with the Spirit, are you now going to be made complete by the flesh?
4 Did you suffer so much for nothing—if in fact it was for nothing?
5 So then, does God supply you with the Spirit and work miracles among you by the works of the law or by hearing with faith?
6 Just as Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him for righteousness,
7 then understand that those who have faith are Abraham’s sons.
8 Now the Scripture saw in advance that God would justify the Gentiles by faith and told the good news ahead of time to Abraham, saying, All the nations will be blessed through you.
9 So those who have faith are blessed with Abraham, who had faith.

10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, because it is written: Everyone who does not continue doing everything written in the book of the law is cursed.
11 Now it is clear that no one is justified before God by the law, because the righteous will live by faith.
12 But the law is not based on faith; instead, the one who does these things will live by them.
13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, because it is written: Everyone who is hung on a tree is cursed.
14 The purpose was that the blessing of Abraham would come to the Gentiles by Christ Jesus, so that we could receive the promised Spirit through faith.

15 Brothers, I’m using a human illustration. No one sets aside or makes additions to even a human covenant[n] that has been ratified.
16 Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. He does not say “and to seeds,” as though referring to many, but referring to one, and to your seed, who is Christ.
17 And I say this: The law, which came 430 years later, does not revoke a covenant that was previously ratified by God and cancel the promise.
18 For if the inheritance is from the law, it is no longer from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham through the promise.

19 Why then was the law given? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise was made would come. The law was put into effect through angels by means of a mediator.
20 Now a mediator is not for just one person, but God is one.
21 Is the law therefore contrary to God’s promises? Absolutely not! For if a law had been given that was able to give life, then righteousness would certainly be by the law. 22 But the Scripture has imprisoned everything under sin’s power, so that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.

23 Before this faith came, we were confined under the law, imprisoned until the coming faith was revealed.
24 The law, then, was our guardian until Christ, so that we could be justified by faith. 25 But since that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian,
26 for you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ like a garment.
28 There is no Jew or Greek, slave or free, male or female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.

  19. Here’s an old post from Linda that might be good to review. It’s about the religious spirit that many are being influenced by. I know what Linda states is truth — I’ve dealt with many people who are stuck in Laws and Church Doctrines (much like the Pharisees did).

Prayers needed for those under the influence of a “religious spirit” — so the Lord shows them the truth.

We never have to prove scripture when we share it without altering it.

    1. I ask the Lord to reveal to me anything that needs correction. I apologize to everyone if I have ever mislead anyone by my own understanding; it is never my intention to bring about confusion. I am not above correction, so if anyone has any concerns about anything I’ve said or shared, please feel to bring those to my attention here on the blog or in private. I only ask that whatever is said, be backed by scripture.

      1. And here as well…it’s only ever my intention to share in love and understanding, never in a spirit that is not of God.

May the Lord show us where we need to be corrected. I plead His blood over each who visits here and each of our lives…in Jesus Name I pray Amen

    2. Likewise here, we are all a work in process and need to be nudged here and there.

That’s a good post from Linda, as is your reminder to pray for them. The religious spirit is one I feel viscerally when around it. It disturbs and upsets me. Speaking the truth to someone under its influence is like talking to a wall. The spirit of fear has a similar effect in that it shuts off a person’s ability to receive the truth.

  20. Today has been an extreme trying of my patience. I turned it all over to the Lord for the battles are his to fight.

Professing Christians wear me out more than non-believers. It’s not for me to judge, but rather that I pray they overcome. All of the religious baggage and false doctrines people carry, is such a burden.

People try to make their faith in the Lord complicated, when it truly should not be. I prefer a simpler faith without a bunch of religious stuff.

Praise the Lord through it all and always show the Characteristics of Christ no matter what comes forth from someone’s mouth or keyboard.

This gave me a title for the next post “We Shall Overcome”.

  21. You are right on that JC about professing christians being hard to be around at times. How much did not St Paul in his days get grey hairs from people around him and he took it all stoically saying; It would be more nice for him to be with the Lord but also more expedient he yet stay there preaching for his fellow humans sake to be saved.

There is a reason people are so divisive on spiritual matters and the main one is they hold church doctrines higher than scripture! Church doctrines are formed with pure intentions but usually degenerate into human opinions Based on text that might be pure but human desires polluting the intention!

There is a reason Christ emphasized holiness or as i see IT being separate. I do respect and Love My fellow brethren in Christ but sometimes they are a little too much.

Praise you Jesus for loving us, for sacrificing your life for us and it all began and ended with love. Help us Lord to copy You and forgive us when we fail. We thank You and Praise You and honor You in all things. I ask this In Jesus Name, Amen
