The Lord Has A Sword That Devours

The title of this post comes from a partial verse in Jeremiah 12:12.

Jeremiah 12

Jeremiah’s Complaint
You will be righteous, Lord,
even if I bring a case against You.
Yet, I wish to contend with You:

Jeremiah12_1
Why does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all the treacherous live at ease?
You planted them, and they have taken root.
They have grown and produced fruit.
You are ever on their lips,
but far from their conscience.
As for You, Lord, You know me; You see me.
You test whether my heart is with You.
Drag the wicked away like sheep to slaughter
and set them apart for the day of killing.
How long will the land mourn
and the grass of every field wither?
Because of the evil of its residents,
animals and birds have been swept away,
for the people have said,
“He cannot see what our end will be.”

The Lord’s Response

Jeremiah12_5_a
If you have raced with runners
and they have worn you out,
how can you compete with horses?
If you stumble in a peaceful land,
what will you do in the thickets of the Jordan?
Even your brothers—your own father’s household—
even they were treacherous to you;
even they have cried out loudly after you.
Do not have confidence in them,
though they speak well of you.
I have abandoned My house;
I have deserted My inheritance.
I have given the love of My life
into the hands of her enemies.
My inheritance has acted toward Me
like a lion in the forest.
She has roared against Me.
Therefore, I hate her.
Is My inheritance like a hyena to Me?
Are birds of prey circling her?
Go, gather all the wild animals;
bring them to devour her.

Jeremiah12_Destroyed_Vineyard
Many shepherds have destroyed My vineyard;
they have trampled My plot of land.

Jeremiah12_Wasteland
They have turned My desirable plot
into a desolate wasteland.
They have made it a desolation.
It mourns, desolate, before Me.
All the land is desolate,
but no one takes it to heart.
Over all the barren heights in the wilderness
the destroyers have come,
for the Lord has a sword that devours
from one end of the earth to the other.
No one has peace.

Jeremiah12_Thorns
They have sown wheat but harvested thorns.
They have exhausted themselves but have no profit.
Be put to shame by your harvests
because of the Lord’s burning anger.
This is what the Lord says: “Concerning all My evil neighbors who attack the inheritance that I bequeathed to My people, Israel, I am about to uproot them from their land, and I will uproot the house of Judah from them.

Jeremiah12_15

After I have uprooted them, I will once again have compassion on them and return each one to his inheritance and to his land.  If they will diligently learn the ways of My people—to swear by My name, ‘As Yahweh lives,’ just as they taught My people to swear by Baal—they will be built up among My people. However, if they will not obey, then I will uproot and destroy that nation.”

This is the Lord’s declaration.

    1. Every word in the scripture of Jeremiah felt so very real. It is real…..excellent post! Jeremiah is my favorite and is the book I first saw America’s destruction many years ago. Even before being baptized in the Holy Spirit, it was powerful in revelation. You can feel his very heart and then feel the Fathers heart when He responds. This time the restoration will be New Jerusalem.

  1. In this passage of Jeremiah is reflected one of the less known but universally felt traits of nature. Few understand this part because its not taught in any schools or universities, the idea within Science is not even 70 years old but some has taught it!

That idea stems from plasma physics and cosmology and is this. Nature and its fundaments can go into a great deal of fluctuation and chaos. But at cellular and molecular level and Even cosmological and from an perspective of an observer nature will return to a state of equlibrium.

Self organizing from our point of view, but a biblical point of view tells us that its the Word of God that maintains and upholds our universe as in the example above the Lord returns Israel back to its basis in harmony with Gods Word.

One needs but to observe nature and see that most will return to as close state as IT is able before IT was disrupted! Elites and societal managers beware and take this to heart. Your work will be brought to nothing IF IT is not in harmony with natures basics, that is the Word of God and the principles laid within it, visible and invisible!

    1. Wow Stig, I love that! Brought to mind last week in prayer I was marveling at the Lord. How HE is the only One who has held back all hell breaking loose. Only for HIS purposes and His mercy.
Yep, those fighting against Him soon to be on fire………..in the fire.

    THE BELT OF TRUTH
Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist… Ephesians 6:14a

The Roman soldier’s wide leather belt held the various garments and pieces of armor securely in place. Loose armor was not only uncomfortable, but also unsafe. The belt also held the scabbards for swords and daggers. It was foundational to keeping everything balanced and in place.

Truth secures everything in our spiritual life. We can’t know what is truly right or wrong apart from truth. In this spiritual warfare we wage, we “put on” Christ, Who Himself is the “truth” (John 14:6). This is our positional application of the belt. Putting on Christ Himself who is the truth enables us to talk, walk and “fight” proclaiming Christ, the truth.

On another application level, buckling the belt of truth around your waist is more than just seeking truth to find out facts. The servant-soldier of Christ who puts on the armor of God must be willing to overcome his own prejudices to find out the truth. He must struggle against his pride, which clings to his preconceived ideas and makes him unwilling to re-examine them and change his opinions.

Second, to wear the belt of truth means binding one’s whole nature together with inner integrity. The belt of truth refers to the knowledge of one’s own inherent wickedness, weaknesses and propensity to sin (Matthew 15:19; 7:4). King David said, “Surely you desire truth in the inner parts; You teach me wisdom in the inmost place.”(Psalm 51:6). This is why a servant of Christ must review the basics of having a humble spirit, mourning to God, seeking His meekness and hungering for righteousness.

Truth directly opposes Satan, the father of lies. His first challenge to Eve was to even question God’s truthfulness. When we know and walk in God’s truth, it sets us free (John 8:32).

Wuillie Marcelino Ruiz, an attorney and an evangelical Christian, was wrongly accused of and sentenced to twenty years at the maximum-security Castro prison in Lima, Peru for the crime of “terrorist collaboration” by a special faceless court. Growing up in a close-knit family, his mother’s death during the first year of his imprisonment was a cruel blow for him.

During a visit by an Open Doors team, Wuillie said, “Not everything inside the prison is sadness. Many of our fellow inmates are receiving Jesus Christ as the deliverer of their souls… God is touching the hearts of the authorities in Peru; here in the prison we are not treated so harshly anymore. As the scriptures tell us, we are not confined because the truth makes us free.”

Jesus is the Truth. Truth is on your side. Truth will win over the enemy’s lies. Fill your heart with truth and stand by it. Put on the belt of truth!

RESPONSE: Today I put on the belt of truth so I can stand strong against Satan’s lies.

PRAYER: Lord, help me fill my heart with truth today for it will set me free. May innocent Christian prisoners know that freedom also.

  3. I want to share 2 praise reports. God is so good, so faithful, even when in midst of a battle! (been a rough week+)

First person Jesus healed: Gets headaches that totally immobilizes them. I was sitting and visiting with him and as he started to get up to take pain meds, I prayed, commanded the headache to go in Jesus name and it left, Jesus healed him instantly! No pain meds! ALL JESUS!!

Yesterday driving back from the city, I saw part of a text from a friend saying she was very sick and needed prayer. I “thought” she can’t breath, although I hadn’t read all the text due to driving on our squirrely dirt road.
Holy Spirit rose up in me so angry at the enemy! I called her, commanded the enemy to leave, breathing to be restored to new etc (boy I was ticked at the stinkin low life devil), in JESUS name and Jesus healed her! His love shows so much in all this. She struggles to make ends meet and was trying to make it thru work. His compassion is so amazing!!! Thank you Jesus!!!

Turns out the text did not say anything about breathing on the text but she couldn’t breath!! God is soooooooooooo good!!!!!

  4. This one is a very interesting perspective because he says the Ac will have edomite roots and so happens a great deal of the former roman empire Italy etc was ethnically transformed into descendants of Edom When the slave populace stemming from the area we now know as Venice became ethnically dominant in the roman empire. But look for yourself and put IT to mind!

    1. I do see a pattern here, it goes to the work called Die Glocke or the Bell from Germany during ww2! its hasty to still lay speculations but we might very well see a barrier between dimensions in effect that can only be breached by certain means like hyper fast contra rotation and an influx of certain elements like the famous Xerum 525 the germans used in Die Glocke.

Consisting of Thorium, mercury and more! Read SS brotherhood of the bell for more info!

I had an uncle who worked on the atomic bomb. He was a doctor, a scientist, physicist, downright genius. He had no clue he was part of the making of the atom bomb/manhattan project until it was well under way. He ended up spending over half a year in a psych ward for depression, supposedly for learning of all this……..

His son, my cousin lives less than 4 miles from where we moved into our home. He and my other aunt are best friends, are extremely progressive and act as though they have the inside joke when it comes to time travel. I’ve had a quick visit with him twice since moving here and only due to my mom visiting and taking me with her.
The aunt: Last ditch effort at talking to her about the Lord, I asked her if she believed in prophecy. She replied yes, but not in the sense you do. Very sad how some of these view a utopia heading this way and also do not value human life. Wont get into all that but being a genius on the wrong side of the Lord is not a good thing………..

  6. Verse of the day from Bible Gateway — 4/20/17

Death, where is your victory? Death, where is your sting? Now the sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

    THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS
Stand firm then…with the breastplate of righteousness in place. Ephesians 6:14b

The soldier’s breastplate of the Roman times was to protect his vital organs. It was usually made of hardened slabs of leather or pounded bronze or a combination of both. The soldier’s rank and his country’s seal were affixed to it. It covered the soldier’s chest and stomach but not his back. So it was designed to face the enemy, not for retreat from the enemy.

Because we are waging a war against an invisible enemy, we must always be armed. Our breastplate is made not of heavy metal but is molded by the Spirit of the living God to fit us properly in our inner being. Our righteousness is not a metal front, but given by Christ to show to everyone in all our day-to-day relationships and circumstances.

Our enemy will point out your failures and shortcomings. He will try to convince you that you are unworthy to be a child of God. He is right. But your relationship with God is based on Jesus’ uprightness before God, not yours. Your sins have been wiped out. When God sees you, he sees Jesus. Stand tall before the enemy…in your breastplate of righteousness.

Mikail Khorev, a very effective evangelist in Russia, spent many years in prison for his continued public ministry. On one occasion his family was refused visiting rights and sent home. When the prison guard was taunting him about it, he replied:

“I would like to tell you that my God is fulfilling his plans through you and will use you for our blessing. I love my family very much and being together with them means a lot to me, but if it brings more honor to the Lord for us to part rather than be together, then why should I insist on seeing them? If his name is glorified more through my being in prison than through my being at liberty, then I tell you that there is no greater joy for me than to die on this prison bunk as a prisoner, as my father did and as many of my brothers in the faith have done.”

Mikhail is also quoted as saying, “I have to admit to you that prison is a very useful school for our education and for the testing of the genuineness of our faith…I’m grateful to the Lord for this school and for his leading.”

RESPONSE: Today I put on the breastplate of righteousness…protected under the blood of Jesus Christ.

PRAYER: Lord, may my breastplate of righteousness guard my heart from evil so I will remain pure and holy in the face of trials.

  8. THE U IN JESUS

Before U were thought of or time had begun,
God stuck U in the name of His Son..

And each time U pray, you’ll see it’s true,
You can’t spell out JesUs and not include U.
You’re a pretty big part of His wonderful name,
For U, He was born; that’s why He came.

And His great love for U is the reason He died.
It even takes U to spell crUcified..

Isn’t it thrilling and splendidly grand
He rose from the dead, with U in His plan?

The stones split away, the gold trUmpet blew,
And this word resUrrection is spelled with a U.

When JesUs left earth at His Upward ascension,
He felt there was one thing He just had to mention.

“Go into the world and tell them it’s true
That I love them all – Just like I love U.”

So many great people are spelled with a U,
Don’t they have a right to know JesUs too?

It all depends now on what U will do,
    He’d like them to know,
But it all starts with U.

    Will U pass it on?

Seriously, with the mind of Christ………we already are all genius! It’s just using what He gave us and remembering this 😀

Now along ley lines are also points where IT is said the veil of reality is thinner! But in this case we might be looking at scalar weaponry at low out put damaging the electricity grid and testing IF there is response from the Us authorities!

My speculation take IT for what IT is.

    THE SHIELD OF FAITH
In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. Ephesians 6:16

The Roman shield was the defensive piece of armor that was almost always used together with the sword. It was used to ward off a blow from the opponent while making your own sword-thrust. Likened to a shield, our faith in God is that piece of spiritual armor that enables us to withstand attacks by the enemy that are too much for the mind and body. The shield of faith has a three-fold duty.

    1. It is a saving faith that is the inward confidence in God.

    2. It is a serving faith that inspires our servant hood.

    3. It is a sanctifying faith that lays hold of the power of God for our daily lives.

When you come under enemy fire, take shelter behind your faith in God. Do not be deceived by circumstances and events. Walk by faith, not by sight. Be confident that God has secured victory. Stake your life on His faithfulness. Trust Him to deliver you as you wear the shield of faith.

A colleague tells the story of Gabriel in violence plagued Colombia. His calling is to share the gospel with guerrilla soldiers hiding in the mountains. As he approaches a camp site with his bag of Spanish Bibles, a perimeter guard often steps out and sticks his AK-47 in Gabriel’s stomach.

    “What are you doing here?”

“I’ve come to tell you about the love of Jesus which you can read about in these books.”

“We don’t want your books. Get lost or I’ll kill you!”

It’s at this point that Gabriel’s faith rises. Pushing the barrel of the gun aside he casually answers, “No you won’t! You can’t kill me until God says you can kill me,” and he boldly walks ahead into the camp where he distributes Bibles and preaches the gospel to those who will listen. He is still on the trail and has not been killed yet. He is convinced the day will come when his life will be taken. But his faith is solidly grounded in the assurance that it will only happen in God’s will. Meanwhile he is a powerful witness to the truth of the Gospel because of his faith.

RESPONSE: Today I take the shield of faith so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

PRAYER: Lord, help me be strong in faith, ready for Satan’s fiery darts of doubt, denial and deceit. Give me bold faith like Gabriel’s.
