Demons Disguised As Catholic Saints & The Dead

Last night I was watching a PBS show about travel in Europe.  They were showing “Testimonies” of people that were visited by Catholic Saints and other dead people.  What they don’t know, is that demons have the ability to mimic the dead and appear to people as “False Light”!

Beware_Satan_Is_Fisher_Of_Men

These things can even bring about a “False Healing/Miracles” for the purpose of deception and people believing a lie, which often causes many to pray to them!

Catholic_Saint_DemonsGod_Is_Not_Mocked

We must ask for clarity, discernment and wisdom in all that we encounter.   Discernment is needed before allowing anyone to lay hands on us, as not everyone is “Filled with the Holy Spirit”!  This is also true about “Tongues” — we need discernment on that, as not everyone that speaks in tongues is filled with the Holy Spirit.

Bette Stevens has testified that demons have infiltrated many churches and often mimic gifts from the Holy Spirit! Be aware that there are some devil worshipers speak in other languages that may come into a church for the purpose of causing confusion or casting of spells.

Ask the Lord to reveal the truth in all things.  You will know when the Holy Spirit is there or not.  You can also look for the “Fruit of the Spirit” and “The Characteristics of Christ”.

2 Thessalonians 2:1-17

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered to Him: We ask you, brothers,  not to be easily upset in mind or troubled, either by a spirit or by a message or by a letter as if from us, alleging that the Day of the Lord has come. Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way. For that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.  He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he sits in God’s sanctuary, publicizing that he himself is God.

Don’t you remember that when I was still with you I told you about this?  And you know what currently restrains him, so that he will be revealed in his time.  For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work, but the one now restraining will do so until he is out of the way,  and then the lawless one will be revealed. The Lord Jesus will destroy him with the breath of His mouth and will bring him to nothing with the brightness of His coming. The coming of the lawless one is based on Satan’s working, with all kinds of false miracles, signs, and wonders,  and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved.  For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false,  so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

But we must always thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God has chosen you for salvation through sanctification by the Spirit and through belief in the truth.  He called you to this through our gospel, so that you might obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Therefore, brothers, stand firm and hold to the traditions you were taught, either by our message or by our letter.

May our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our Father, who has loved us and given us eternal encouragement and good hope by grace,  encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good work and word.

1 John 4:1  Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

Matthew 24:24  False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

  1. Timely post James! So much confusion in the Cath church. Pope-ye is leading the way into deeper manifestations of demons. I have many born again friends who were Catholic.
One shared with me she was going to stay in her “church” no matter what her family thought. They had all left the church to attend a Spirit filled church. She was very stubborn. Her sister challenged her to read the Bible. The Word is what brought her out of the lie and into the Truth. Thank you Jesus!

The world is watching and with so much “emotionalism” many are being literally led by demons even in the “spirit filled” churches. I am not sure I can spell this right but as Bette shared, the kindulini spirit is one many are warning of, I’ve warned of also………. yet,,,,,,,,,those involved in the manifestations and deception of these things are not willing to hear. They really need prayer.

    1. That “Kundalini Spirit” has many names and disguises. It is part of many things like: Yoga, Pilates, Chaktra, Tantra “Spiritual Awakening”, “Primal Energy”, “Third Eye Meditation”. Brings about a “False Holy Spirit”. All demonic!

      1. One of Curry Blakes testimonies is about his walk through martial arts. He taught it for years till the Lord told him to stop teaching to kill and start teaching Jesus! He talks about the Chaktra, the dangers and where it takes people. It opened a door also for a demonic type of dancing. He had never had a lesson and simply watching a movie, he had a demonic encounter so much so he started teaching dance too. Jesus set him free and it’s a passionate topic for him that he warns about.

Too much emotional junk and thank God for Holy Spirit to warn. Also way too much witchcraft in the guise of “ministry” lurking out there.

I’ve seen fake dancing in the churches, false spirits and stirring up the emotionalism that is not of God. It’s scary how many follow that and with no discernment. Some of these are huge ministries:(

  2. Yes sir/mam this post is very necessary. I guess jc is getting 1000s hits every hour from the vatican now 🤔

But this phenomenon applies to all false religions from treehuggers to devil worshippers and everything in between.

G.H Pember registered the roots of this movement in the earths earliest ages book from the 1800s. Its roots are in theosophy and eastern religions like tibetan lamanism who is essentially black magic. Disgusting such!

  3. Last night odd dream and I still don’t have the gift of interpretation yet. I’ve dreamed two nights I was in “Flint MI” but last night was so clear. I was helping elderly, white haired ladies walk somewhere. Away from Flint. There was an odd bed/mat on the way and we all laid down to rest. I smiled at them and said “it’s good to rest.”

I’ve searched definitions and the Word for flint yet I keep coming back to water………

    1. Here’s a few verses of scripture related to flint. May the Lord give you the interpretation on this dream.

Psalm 114:8 who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a spring of water.
Deuteronomy 8:15 He led you through the great and terrible wilderness with its poisonous snakes and scorpions, a thirsty land where there was no water. He brought water out of the flint-like rock for you.

keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.

    1. Stig, I’m sure she’d like to hear from you. She might share the details with you, but know she’s not on the internet much at all now. I know she’s doing similar work to what she once did several years ago, when she lived in the Kansas City Missouri area.

    TAKE UP YOUR CROSS
Anyone who loves their life will lose it, while anyone who hates their life in this world will keep it for eternal life. John 12:25

A tentmaker missionary in Morocco struggled with the issue of dying for Christ. He shares these words:

Is faith in Christ worth dying for? I quickly saw that if it wasn’t, I had no business presenting the Gospel to Muslims. You see, when a Muslim receives Christ, he faces certain persecution and possible death. How can I ask a Muslim to receive Christ as Lord if I have doubts in my own heart. If Christ isn’t worth dying for, He isn’t worth living for. On the other hand, if Christ is worth living and dying for, then we have a Gospel that is of infinite value to Muslims…

Ahmed came to see me one day, honestly sharing his fears with me about following Christ. He asked, “What if I go to prison?” This kind of question had always intimidated me; I wasn’t sure that I could ask someone to be willing to go to prison when I myself had never gone. Yet now I realised that it was Jesus who was calling him to take up his cross and follow, not me. This was between Ahmed and the Lord.

A thirty-two-year-old pastor works in Upper Egypt, an area of intense persecution for Christians. He runs a day care centre, a medical clinic, a literacy training program as well as caring for the families of those in prison. He has been beaten twice by Muslim extremists and threatened daily with death. He knows they are trying to kill him…but he continues to daily bear his cross.

A leading pastor in Egypt shared about a parishioner who tearfully came for counselling. Young people she had trained at her work were recently promoted to be her supervisors. She was passed over solely because she was a Christian. The pastor concluded, “That’s the cross we must bear here in Egypt!”

The essence of these examples is that instead of exercising and asserting my will, I learn to cooperate with God’s wishes and comply with His will.

RESPONSE: Today I give my will over to God and comply with His will for me.

PRAYER: Lord, I want to cooperate with Your wishes and desires. Help me bear my cross for You.

  8. I dont know IF you been following the bombing in St Petersburg Russia but IT was confirmed an Kyrgystan native which equals moslem. This is a slap in the Face of Putins promises of internal security and just watch Russia will go Heavy handed soon against people there which will let Us condemn them of human rights violations.

This will further increase the gap to resolve this diplomatically. The hidden hand in the shadows is moving to prevent solutions since a conference was in the preparation in Finland initiated by the Finnish president and remains to be seen IF this will be realized or IF its just a cry for peace and safety. And we bible believers know how that ends dont we?

  10. Sharing a testimony of protection. Last night I was on a Skype call when lightning struck our cable lines outside. I felt a tingle in my legs and the cable modem went dark. Nothing was harmed except my internet cable modem — it was fried. Cody got me up early this morning, so I went to Walmart to pick up another inexpensive one — Cable company got it working within minutes.

    Thanks you Jesus 🙂

P.S. — Reminder that I am moving on Saturday April 15th. I will probably be unavailable starting the evening of April 14th until new provider in Arkansas gets everything connected sometime on Monday April 17th.

      1. It’s still in the Ozark Mountains and about a 3 hour drive to get there. Around 150 miles from here going through winding highways, where you must often slow down to 25-35 m.p.h. due to curves and small towns along the way.

        Thanks for the prayers everyone.

    FOLLOW ME
Whoever serves me must follow me; and where I am, my servant also will be. My Father will honor the one who serves me. John 12:26

I’ll never forget my first visit to the house church of Pastor Samuel Lamb in Quangzhou, China with my wife Dianne. That night we were introduced to his twenty-four-year-old assistant pastor. We soon learned that she had no danwei or work-unit. This was how all people in China were identified and registered. Even some shopping required a danwei.

When asked, “Isn’t it risky for you to work full-time in a house church and not have a danwei?” she simply replied, “It’s the way of the cross!”

One of our Canadian couriers to Cuba asked a leading pastor who received many needed Spanish Bibles from us, “We’re placing you at risk, aren’t we?” He answered with his hand on his heart, “Risk? What risk? I took a risk when I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Saviour and became a minister. And if they want to shoot me, so much the better. I’ll go into glory sooner.”

Rinaldo Hernandez is a Methodist pastor in Cuba. His father spent five years in prison for political subversion and wanted the family to escape to Miami. But Rinaldo decided that staying in Cuba was a cross he must bear:

“I remember my father told me that I would pay a high price for that decision,” he says. His price was to come later when his seminary education was disrupted by assignment to compulsive military service in a work camp. There conditions were primitive and most of the men were hardened criminals.

He and seven other Christians met secretly at night in the sugar cane fields to pray, read the Bible and encourage one another. “I became a pastor in that work camp, not in seminary,” he concludes.

A Chinese Christian brother from the north-west province of Xinjiang was released after serving twenty years in prison. He shared this poem written by his wife just before her death in prison:

As a real disciple I have dedicated my life hoeing the fields energetically,

    Begging for food shamelessly,

Wearing worn-out clothes as if they were formal dresses

Freezing to death at the windy station yet uttering not a word of complaint.

Only if the Gospel would be widely spread

Am I willing to be hung upside down on the cross…with no regret.

The late Jamie Buckingham made this memorable statement: “The risk-free life is a victory-free life. It means life-long surrender to the mediocre and that is the worst of all possible defeats.”[1]

RESPONSE: I will not surrender to the defeat of mediocrity but follow Jesus whatever the risk.

PRAYER: Lord, help me to truly follow You – even to the cross!

  12. I want to share a testimony from a friend. She called today so excited, what a blessing! She’s had many struggles but God always comes through and then some every time, including putting gas in her car etc.
She had a bad day and was being hammered by the enemy this morning. She’s a caregiver and felt she hadn’t done enough by getting her college degree etc. We prayed.
She called a couple hours after prayer. An elderly veteran she cares for was sharing with her that Jehovah Witnesses had been coming by. She told him they were not evil people but their doctrine was. He was listening, then Holy Spirit had her ask him if he had ever invited Jesus into his heart. No. She said, well we better take care of that right now because God has plans for you and loves you. When she began to lead him in prayer, Holy Spirit fell mightily and He shut the TV off!!! The man said “He’s here now isn’t he!?”

So thrilled, another soul into the Kingdom!!! Then she called back again a few moments later over work issues and her boss told her she’d had 4 clients call in that week to tell them how she had touched their lives! That’s God!!!!!
    Happy dance:)

      1. Can you imagine the look on the man’s face when the Lord turned his TV off!?!?!? Then to feel His presence so powerfully! On the humorous side of the Lord He showed what he thought of that stinkin TV LOL!

I imagine he will not be able to turn the TV on without thinking of what God did. My friend is taking some discipleship studies over to him this week. I love the elderly, our veterans, addicts, alcoholics, you name it! Father I pray we have testimonies of Your love, Your deliverance, Your Salvation, pouring in as never before IN JESUS name!! Give Your angels charge over this new man and my friend and lead every step they take by Your Spirit. I can’t wait to hear the plans You have for this man Lord! Thank you Jesus!

    TAKE THIS CUP
“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” Luke 22:42

On hearing the news of the violent assassination of Christian government minister, Shahbaz Bhatti, Maaria from Pakistan wrote these words in her “Secret Believers” blog:

Another man laid to rest, not like men who die for a better tomorrow or men who die for the restoration of a nation, or men who die for a noble cause. I am writing of a line of men and women who have entered Christ’s rest because they chose to believe in Him above the laws of the land and the laws of Islam. They chose to stand up for Christ…

Mr. Bhatti’s name has been added to that list. Every time I try to sleep, images of his car, the blood, the bullet holes, the sound of what it must have been like, the stench of what must have filled the air come to me along with the voice of a woman hidden away in a prison. A woman whose persecution started this spate of hatred and anger—Aasia Bibi, my sister—in solitary confinement, afraid, alone and waiting for the day she is hung for a crime she did not commit.

For every bullet that was sprayed, whether it hit him and spilt his blood or not, I offer the Al Quaida, forgiveness. I cannot speak yet for my aching people. I will give them time to get there. But I know there are Maarias who forgive the Al Quaida for taking away a man who loved Jesus and loved the Church and loved Pakistan. For every bullet, I remember the nails on the cross and ask the Lord to “Forgive them for they know not what they do.” They have been brain washed. They are not born for this. God allows them into the world for great things. I ask that you forgive them too.

For every drop of blood spilt, forgive them. Jesus hung on the cross and his blood was spilt for us. For every drop of blood, I urge you my Christian family around the world, to remember the sips of wine from the cup that Jesus passed among his disciples in the upper room…Then remember those of us for whom the words of Christ are so real today, “Lord…take this cup from me.” I am sure there were nights when Mr. Bhatti spoke into the darkness to God and asked Him to deliver him from this. But God gave him the courage to carry on. He did not bend to the demand to give up and walk away.

RESPONSE: Today I will pray for courage to honor Jesus and forgive those who snuff out His light.

PRAYER: Lord, grant Your courage, peace and forgiving spirit to all who grieve injustices today.

    1. “Take this Cup”

This message is a cry for forgiving those who hurt us (no matter how big or small the sin against us, even when it causes death) really touches me…brings me to tears and causes my chest to feel heavy.

It’s one of the hardest things for us to do…BUT we must do it and carry on!!!!

  14. Last sunday the preacher said something that came to my mind reading about this Pakistani minister.

The preacher said each of us is functionally immortal until the Lord calls us home.

Live one day at the time says scripture and on the other hand it recommends to be like the ant. But the ant prepares for many so we should also think if our preparations are not for our benefit they might be for many others.

And if we do the Lords purposes he will keep us in working order til our time comes. Anxiety must be surpressed and faith in the Lords big picture maintained.

  15. Stig, that is an area a friend of mine and I were discussing last year. How much of a blessing it would be for someone else if not for us.

Love the way you put words to what you shared! Anxiety must be suppressed. Faith in the Lord, what He has for us. Simple trust in Him. My small thoughts are the anxieties we go through from time to time, to me, is Him growing us to trust Him in every area. Surely enough when I think I trust Him in all areas, He shows me there are more areas to trust Him in.
