Instruction On Prayer & Instruction for men and women

The title of this post is in reference to 1 Timothy 2.  Remember we must learn the truth from the word of God.  We can’t take away from or add to it based on what we like and what we don’t like!

1 Timothy 2

First of all, then, I urge that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone,

2 for kings and all those who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.

3 This is good, and it pleases God our Savior,

4 who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

5 For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity,
Christ Jesus, Himself human,

6 who gave Himself—a ransom for all, a testimony at the proper time.

7 For this I was appointed a herald, an apostle (I am telling the truth; I am not lying), and a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and truth.

8 Therefore, I want the men in every place to pray, lifting up holy hands without anger or argument.

9 Also, the women are to dress themselves in modest clothing, with decency and good sense, not with elaborate hairstyles, gold, pearls, or expensive apparel,

10 but with good works, as is proper for women who affirm that they worship God.

11 A woman should learn in silence with full submission.

12 I do not allow a woman to teach or to have authority over a man; instead, she is to be silent.

13 For Adam was created first, then Eve.

14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and transgressed.

15 But she will be saved through childbearing, if she continues in faith, love, and holiness, with good judgment.

Acts 2:17-21

17 And it will be in the last days, says God,
that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity;
then your sons and your daughters will prophesy,
your young men will see visions,
and your old men will dream dreams.

18 I will even pour out My Spirit
on My male and female slaves in those days,
and they will prophesy.

19 I will display wonders in the heaven above
and signs on the earth below:
blood and fire and a cloud of smoke.

20 The sun will be turned to darkness
and the moon to blood
before the great and remarkable Day of the Lord comes.

21 Then everyone who calls
on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Revelation 22:17-19

17 Both the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” Anyone who hears should say, “Come!” And the one who is thirsty should come. Whoever desires should take the living water as a gift.

18 I testify to everyone who hears the prophetic words of this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this book.

19 And if anyone takes away from the words of this prophetic book, God will take away his share of the tree of life and the holy city, written in this book.

  1. I just got busted. I do pray for our leaders and it has become easier to pray rightly for them, with the right heart. BUT when DH puts the liberal news on here in the morning………..and they are saying the immigrants are not causing crime (in a nutshell) I need to pray for those the god of this age has blinded. The news anchors and weathermen get to me. A job to lie. To push propaganda………..Lord help my heart pray rightly for these

  3. Scripture that confirms we are to continue warning those that do not know the Lord and those that profess to know him but continue in sin:

    Ezekiel 3:17-21

17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman over the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, give them a warning from Me. 18 If I say to the wicked person, ‘You will surely die,’ but you do not warn him—you don’t speak out to warn him about his wicked way in order to save his life—that wicked person will die for his iniquity. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood. 19 But if you warn a wicked person and he does not turn from his wickedness or his wicked way, he will die for his iniquity, but you will have saved your life. 20 Now if a righteous person turns from his righteousness and practices iniquity, and I put a stumbling block in front of him, he will die. If you did not warn him, he will die because of his sin and the righteous acts he did will not be remembered. Yet I will hold you responsible for his blood. 21 But if you warn the righteous person that he should not sin, and he does not sin, he will indeed live because he listened to your warning, and you will have saved your life.”

    1. James, this topic and scripture is close to my heart faith walk! I have warned my family and am considered judgmental and anger towards me increases. I love on them and do pray with them yet they seem to remain deaf and blind, even having several friends die of a drug overdose, they still do not turn back to God, They think they can drink and work the pain and grief of loss away!

      1. Sister M — each and every one of us has encountered rejection by family, friends or neighbors. We must listen to the Holy Spirit for each situation, as sometimes we may need to cut ties with them and that is never an easy thing to do. Prayers for all of them no matter what comes.

I understand partly your problem James and Sister M. But in retrospect i have to say that far away one sees better. That one i live by to this day.

        Blessings to everyone

    1. For a week now I have been feeling a disturbance in my spirit, like Bette mentioned in the video. I feel agitated and a little sick to my stomach – even losing weight because I don’t feel hungry.

I believe it’s related to the church, how the Lord feels about the wayward, slumbering church in America. These are serious times. The hammer is going to drop on the corporate church, the entertainment church, the sleeping church. “Come out here, my people.”

      1. I agree Mike, based on all of the recent prophetic words we have been given by others. I think there is going to be a huge event happening to the slumbering corporate churches. Like Bette has shared many times .. Judgment is coming upon the church.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

The relational aspect of commitment is found in the phrase, “Whoever wants to be my disciple…” There is a desire on our part that causes us to want to come to Jesus to be His follower. It is a relationship that you seek to establish with Him. But what is the origin of this relationship? We do not have anything in us that is good enough to be offered to God. It is God Himself who has committed Himself to us. It is He who has taken the initiative that makes it possible for me to respond in commitment to Him.

We see God’s commitment in His creation. He made humankind in His image. And we see His true commitment when we messed up in the fall of humankind. Thus began God’s plan for salvation, the redemption story that culminated in the coming of Jesus Christ. God’s commitment to us is one of total love. This caused Him to not even spare His only Son from the cruelty of the cross to redeem us from the curse of sin.

In addition, when Jesus was on earth, it was He who took the initiative. In fact, when there were some who wanted to volunteer their services prior to their understanding of the true nature of discipleship and the commitment that is required of them, they were discouraged from doing so:

When Jesus saw the crowd around him, he gave orders to cross to the other side of the lake. Then a teacher of the law came to him and said, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”

Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” Another disciple said to him, “Lord, first let me go and bury my father.” But Jesus told him, “Follow me, and let the dead bury their own dead.” (Matthew 8:18–22)

This is the relational aspect of commitment; one in which we desire to follow Jesus because God first committed Himself to us and calls us to follow Him. We who have experienced His love and grace desire to respond to Him.

RESPONSE: Today I commit to a relationship with Jesus in being a true learner and follower.

PRAYER: Lord, I respond to Your love and grace today and desire to become a fully devoted disciple.

  6. Peggy you ought to get Chrissy there to tell of her new study also on your ladies night. She has some excellent stuff! That lady is an undiscovered goldmine of knowledge. I consider myself a slouch in comparison..

Take this as an incentive to ask her for samples.

      1. Tom Bearden talked about this stuff already in the 80s and was laughed out because of it. How many prophets and geniuses have been maligned through history for being ahead of the crowd.

Its easy to experiment just say look at the airplanes and compare their contrails and say the short one is natural the long one going from horizon to horizon is not. They will look at you like hmm okay go home calm down, and yet its there before their eyes. Even weathermen say it!

Denial of reality is an epidemic nowadays. Good catch sonshine IF memory serves IT was Scott Stevens of Weatherwars WHO started this movement!

  7. Stig, that post you shared about chemtrails — just shows how they no longer are trying to cover this up and we should expect more of it on a larger scale. Prayers needed for protection, as no matter what these luciferian elite people do, the Lord is still in control and we need faith in him to protect us down to our DNA.

  8. Several Prayer requests:

For my sister Linda and her new upcoming job.
For Anna, as she moves into a new residence today.
For Patrick Kirk — for healing & finances.
For James Falls — deliverance & healing.
For all who don’t know the Lord, that they may find him before it’s too late. For all those who have verbally denounced their faith, that they return to the Lord before a “suddenly event” occurs and they find themselves in eternal torment.
For those that once knew the Lord, but have walked away in disobedience.
For “professing Christians” who truly don’t know the Lord as their personal savior, that they turn everything over to him.
For those that are now following demonic spirits/doctrines of demons because they refuse the truth and believe they are following the Lord.
For church leaders/preachers/teachers that are not sharing the full truth in the word and are more interested in “cash flow”.
For those that claim to know the Lord but have no fruit of the spirit.
For those that are following “lifestyle choices” and feel nothing is wrong — pray that they be set free from whatever it is they are doing and that the Holy Spirit brings conviction.
For those that have compromised their faith so they can “keep the peace” with whoever they are communicating with.

10 and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, 12 so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

On the basis of certain facts, a relationship has been established between two parties. Now there must be actual evidence to prove that one has made that commitment. This is the aspect of entrusting oneself to that second party. In our Luke text, we see two phrases that reflect this entrusting aspect of commitment, “deny yourself” and “take up your cross daily.”

    Deny Yourself:

The word “deny” literally means “say no to oneself” or “renounce self—leave self behind.” The biblical concept of commitment calls the follower of Jesus to “deny oneself” not self-denial. This is not to deny something, but a more complete and total denial of oneself in which one no longer seeks for what pleases self.

This is in direct contrast to the normal way of life where everyone is out for himself or herself. The basic sinful nature of the world, whether communist, capitalist or revolutionary is the same. It desires the promotion of self at the expense of someone else. Jesus says his followers will be known as those who deny themselves.

Take Up Your Cross Daily: The second part is even more extreme. Commitment also calls for the taking up of the cross. In commitment to Jesus, you deny yourself even to the point of willingness to go to your own execution! We only commit ourselves to the point of willingness to die when we understand that the present life ends up in death anyway and the One who has promised us forgiveness and eternal life can really deliver.

In Jesus Christ, the believer has found real life. Therefore the denying of self and the way of the cross are only logical steps for him or her to take.

A young man who had recently become a Christian was returning home to a country where the punishment for conversion to Christ was death. He was asked whether or not he was afraid to go back. He replied, “I have already died in Christ!”

Jim Elliott, a missionary who was martyred in Ecuador, said, “He is no fool who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose.”

RESPONSE: Today I will commit to entrust myself to Jesus by denying self and taking up my cross.

PRAYER: Lord, I entrust myself to You and purpose to live the rest of my life to the fullest in ways that only You decide.

  10. Personal Testimony Of Healing —

Awhile ago I was having symptoms of heart problems. I prayed about this and asked the Lord for healing and if I needed to go get this checked out. What I thought I heard was this … “Trust in me for everything, your heart is being healed”!. Thank you Jesus. After hearing those words, the pain stopped!

IF people could get eternity perspective from God himself by reading their bibles, children would grow more safely again.

Children is our future, not our temporal pleasure.

I was on the call last night for the whole time. It lasted 4 hours and 5 minutes. Perhaps you were there ’till the end, too. I took notes and am typing them up. I was the lady playing the piano softly in the background during the prayers, if you noticed that. I will send to Bette to check over, and if you would like a copy at the end, ask JC for my e-mail, and I will send to you.

    1. Thanks for sharing that informative link with us Mike. Just like in Bette’s latest video, people will refuse the truth even when you point it out. They prefer to keep their heads buried in the sand and most don’t acknowledge the truth revealed about the end times in The Holy Bible. Many people sharing the truth always encounter mockers and scoffers. Good reason to repeat this part of scripture:

      2 Thessalonians 2:10-12

10 and with every unrighteous deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth in order to be saved. 11 For this reason God sends them a strong delusion so that they will believe what is false, 12 so that all will be condemned—those who did not believe the truth but enjoyed unrighteousness.

      1. 2 Peter 3:2-4
so that you can remember the words previously spoken by the holy prophets and the command of our Lord and Savior given through your apostles. First, be aware of this: Scoffers will come in the last days to scoff, living according to their own desires, saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? Ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they have been since the beginning of creation.”

        Acts 13:41
Look, you scoffers, marvel and vanish away, because I am doing a work in your days, a work that you will never believe, even if someone were to explain it to you.”

        Jude 17-19
But you, dear friends, remember what was predicted by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; they told you, “In the end time there will be scoffers walking according to their own ungodly desires.” These people create divisions and are unbelievers, not having the Spirit.

Then he said to them all: “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me. Luke 9:23

The personal and trusting relationship between God and His followers now leads the believer to the commissioning aspect of commitment—a task that is characteristic of being His true followers—“and follow me.” This commitment is not to a task but to a person. To be a follower of Jesus is to be a disciple of Jesus. A disciple is one who follows the teaching of another; one who is like another; one who models after another.

What is the task to which he has called us? The task is none other than the words of what we call “The Great Commission”:

Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

    (Matthew 28:18–20)

The Christian’s task is nothing short of being a servant of Jesus Christ proclaiming the message of Jesus Christ and helping others become followers of Jesus. Our primary responsibility is neither overthrowing governments nor opposing ideologies but a proactive one of making disciples of all nations.

In the course of our obedience to God’s authority, we may come in conflict with the existing government. We have been called to be good citizens and history has proven that Christians are generally law-abiding and hard working. But when conflicts come, the Christian is ready to choose his commitment to Christ over his or her commitment to local authorities (Acts 4:19–20).

RESPONSE: Today I complete my commitment to follow Jesus in sharing His love with others.

PRAYER: As a true disciple, I give myself, Lord, to the task of world evangelization starting where You place me today.

  14. Informative warning passed along by Bette Stevens: (not sure where this originated or the author)

    Important to read…………
This is the new thing these days, with people out of work and needing cash.

    Beware, it’s headed your way.

Just last weekend on Friday night we parked in a public parking area. As we drove away I noticed a sticker on the rear window of the car. When I took it off after I got home, it was a receipt for gas.. Luckily my friend told me not to stop as it could be someone waiting for me to get out of the car..

Then we received this email yesterday:

Heads up everyone! . You walk across the parking lot, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine and shift into reverse..

When you look into the rear-view mirror to back out of your parking space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you shift into Park, unlock your doors, and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view. When you reach the back of your car, that is when the carjackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off. They practically mow you down
as they speed off in your car.

And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car.

So now the carjacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. More than likely, your cell phone, too.

Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, just drive away. Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail.

I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women. A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want it to fall into the wrong hands.

  15. Daily Devotional — 4/2/17

They took palm branches and went out to meet him, shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Blessed is the king of Israel!” John 12:13

There were two crowds who greeted Jesus on that first Palm Sunday. The first crowd were Passover celebrators who came out from Jerusalem to meet Jesus as he approached from Bethany (John 12:12). The second crowd was made up of those accompanying Him from Bethany who had witnessed the recent miraculous resurrection of Lazarus (John 12:17). Both crowds loudly proclaimed praises to Jesus as he rode into town on a donkey on the road leading Him to Calvary.

John’s account of this day also indicates there were two types of responses to Jesus as he rode into Jerusalem. One outspoken group “continued to spread the word” about Jesus causing many people to look for Him. It even caused the Pharisees to say, “Look how the whole world has gone after him” (John 12: 19).

A second group believed in Jesus but would not publicly confess their faith because of fear of losing their status in the local synagogue. They loved praise from men more than praise from God, John concluded (John 12:42-43).

Palm Sunday is thus a challenge to us about how outspoken or not we are about King Jesus. Do we continue to loudly proclaim Him as our King or are we so fearful of consequences that we hold back and hesitate, losing every opportunity to make Him known.

A pastor friend of Rev. Joseph Tson in Romania was told by an interrogating officer, “We know that Mr Tson would love to be a martyr, but we are not so foolish as to fulfill his wish.”

    Pastor Tson said:

Now that I had placed my life on the altar and decided I was ready to die for the Gospel, they were telling me they would not kill me. I could go wherever I wanted in the country and preach whatever I wanted knowing I was safe. As long as I tried to save my life, I was losing it. Now that I was willing to lose it, I found it…

Jesus taught us long ago: with Him, the road down leads upward. With Him, the path of suffering ends in victory. The road to Calvary does not stop until resurrection.

RESPONSE: Today I commit to joining the group of disciples who “continue to spread the word.”

PRAYER: Lord, help me walk the Calvary road with You right through to resurrection!

    1. James,

Linda’s post is truly a confirmation as well for me. I am keeping her in prayer for the new job too!

I had a dream when my grandson was a newborn before he could talk. I was holding him walking and he said, A fire is coming two times in such authority! I have been seeking discernment and I believe there are several fires coming…one in the holy spirit’s sense for those walking in holiness to be used by Him in these last days! and in the judgement sense that many have perished in the flames of hel of those living being warned who will not repent or think they are saved and will burn!

      In Christ,
