Do not be agitated by evildoers; do not envy those who do wrong

Psalm 37

1 Do not be agitated by evildoers;
do not envy those who do wrong.

2 For they wither quickly like grass
and wilt like tender green plants.

3 Trust in the Lord and do what is good;
dwell in the land and live securely.

4 Take delight in the Lord,
and He will give you your heart’s desires.

5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in Him, and He will act,

6 making your righteousness shine like the dawn,
your justice like the noonday.

7 Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for Him;
do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way,
by the man who carries out evil plans.

8 Refrain from anger and give up your rage;
do not be agitated—it can only bring harm.

9 For evildoers will be destroyed,
but those who put their hope in the Lord
will inherit the land.

10 A little while, and the wicked person will be no more;
though you look for him, he will not be there.

11 But the humble will inherit the land
and will enjoy abundant prosperity.

12 The wicked person schemes against the righteous
and gnashes his teeth at him.

13 The Lord laughs at him
because He sees that his day is coming.

14 The wicked have drawn the sword and strung the bow
to bring down the afflicted and needy
and to slaughter those whose way is upright.

15 Their swords will enter their own hearts,
and their bows will be broken.

16 The little that the righteous man has is better
than the abundance of many wicked people.

17 For the arms of the wicked will be broken,
but the Lord supports the righteous.

18 The Lord watches over the blameless all their days,
and their inheritance will last forever.

19 They will not be disgraced in times of adversity;
they will be satisfied in days of hunger.

20 But the wicked will perish;
the Lord’s enemies, like the glory of the pastures,
will fade away—
they will fade away like smoke.

21 The wicked man borrows and does not repay,
but the righteous one is gracious and giving.

22 Those who are blessed by Him will inherit the land,
but those cursed by Him will be destroyed.

23 A man’s steps are established by the Lord,
and He takes pleasure in his way.

24 Though he falls, he will not be overwhelmed,
because the Lord holds his hand.

25 I have been young and now I am old,
yet I have not seen the righteous abandoned
or his children begging for bread.

26 He is always generous, always lending,
and his children are a blessing.

27 Turn away from evil and do what is good,
and dwell there forever.

28 For the Lord loves justice
and will not abandon His faithful ones.
They are kept safe forever,
but the children of the wicked will be destroyed.

29 The righteous will inherit the land
and dwell in it permanently.

30 The mouth of the righteous utters wisdom;
his tongue speaks what is just.

31 The instruction of his God is in his heart;
his steps do not falter.

32 The wicked one lies in wait for the righteous
and seeks to kill him;

33 the Lord will not leave him
in the power of the wicked one
or allow him to be condemned when he is judged.

34 Wait for the Lord and keep His way,
and He will exalt you to inherit the land.
You will watch when the wicked are destroyed.

35 I have seen a wicked, violent man
well-rooted like a flourishing native tree.

36 Then I passed by and noticed he was gone;
I searched for him, but he could not be found.

37 Watch the blameless and observe the upright,
for the man of peace will have a future.

38 But transgressors will all be eliminated;
the future of the wicked will be destroyed.

39 The salvation of the righteous is from the Lord,
their refuge in a time of distress.

40 The Lord helps and delivers them;
He will deliver them from the wicked and will save them
because they take refuge in Him.

    To keep me from becoming conceited because of these surpassingly great revelations, there was given me a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:7-10

    Suffering burns away pride, as it did in Paul’s life. When Paul prayed three times for the removal of his “thorn in the flesh,” he saw that it was God’s will for him, and he accepted it.

    Many Christians are defeated at this point because they are not sure that they are in the will of God, so they are not sure if the suffering is really His will for them. Without going aside into a Bible study on knowing the will of God, we can just present this thought. Our great God “works for the good of those who love him…” (Romans 8:28). If we consciously submit to His will, He will give His divine direction. Our suffering and persecution can be placed in His hands by a simple act of our will. No believer needs to suffer alone and in doubt. Commit it all to the Lord (Proverbs 16:3).

    In an unscheduled visit to Lat Village in Vietnam, a co-worker had the joy of visiting Father Tranh, the leader of the local church. Realizing the isolation and loneliness of this leader the group with our co-worker immediately asked how they could pray for him.

    Not having an abundance of fellowship, he started sharing his hardships and needs. He confirmed the persecution and discrimination against the tribal people as already expressed by all the leaders they had met in Saigon. He shared the hardship of ministering to his people and the difficulties of restriction both by the police as well as the dense forest that limited his movements.

    Father Thanh had 6,000 members in his congregation and found it an overwhelming task to be the only leader. “How do you do it brother?” the group asked. “How many people assist you in this enormous task?”

    “I am only me!” he responded and immediately went on to conclude his answer, “but even though I am limited, the Holy Spirit is unlimited.”

    RESPONSE: Today I will recognize that God may send suffering into my life to burn away my pride.

    PRAYER: Pray for suffering church leaders around the world today—especially Father Thanh.

  2. I have to return a little to the previous post as i saw Glynda posted about diseases coming forth. Today finnish media reported that a mysterious brain disease is affecting children here. I would request prayers of protection over My little ones, there is anguish enough without having them harmed.

    IT would be very harmful to me IF My little ones would be harmed since i work almost 24/7 to keep them going at cost to My own well being.

    I trust the Lord but keeping oneself close to him is always choice nr 1!

  3. This prior post came to mind this morning:

    One of the things that seems to be happening is when we don’t perform the way others want us to, we are dismissed as “Crazy” or something worse. When we try to tell others that we need quiet time, it’s usually not taken very well and often met with anger.

    Having quiet time for me is necessary, as it allows me to refocus on my walk with the Lord and step away from the things that do not matter. Even when you share with others that you also need much rest for Physical reasons — they don’t even hear that part.

    The enemy wants us to send out quick biting responses back to those who simply do not understand! Don’t do it — sometimes people are so caught up in their own “stuff”, they tend to take out frustrations on anyone they come in contact with.

    I know now that it truly does not matter what others think, as it’s only important on how the Lord sees us. If we show the Characteristics of Christ in our walk, always showing kindness to others in any situation — it’s simply time to place all of those cares with the Lord.

    Matthew 12:33-37

    33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad; for a tree is known by its fruit. 34 Brood of vipers! How can you speak good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart. 35 A good man produces good things from his storeroom of good, and an evil man produces evil things from his storeroom of evil. 36 I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak. 37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned.”

    Ephesians 4:22-32

    22 You took off your former way of life, the old self that is corrupted by deceitful desires; 23 you are being renewed in the spirit of your minds; 24 you put on the new self, the one created according to God’s likeness in righteousness and purity of the truth.
    25 Since you put away lying, Speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another. 26 Be angry and do not sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your anger, 27 and don’t give the Devil an opportunity. 28 The thief must no longer steal. Instead, he must do honest work with his own hands, so that he has something to share with anyone in need. 29 No foul language is to come from your mouth, but only what is good for building up someone in need, so that it gives grace to those who hear. 30 And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by Him for the day of redemption. 31 All bitterness, anger and wrath, shouting and slander must be removed from you, along with all malice. 32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

  4. Great post about quiet time there JC. I found out the mystery disease i mentioned above is most likely vaccine related or possibly chemtrail related but the latter is not mentioned. Some people after getting a vaccine and doing heavy physical activity are struck by neurological disorders, but there is more than that also.

    Im speaking at church tomorrow but im at loss what to say my mind is weary from work and i really need a red thread to follow. Vickis painting came to mind as i wrote this, maybe i have to study IT deeper.

    1. Stig, I understand what you are saying about vaccinations and chemtrails. I personally won’t get any more vaccinations of any sort. Doctors keep pushing the flu and pneumonia shots, but I no longer trust what’s inside of those things. Too many warnings have been sent out about how big Pharma and the U.S. CDC are hiding facts from the general public.

      We’ve read a ton about chemtrails — they keep at it here where I live all the time.

      I’ve watched a recent video about how HAARP is still operating. There’s been those that claim that is mind-control technology but is being disguised as “Auroral Research” funded by the military.

      Who knows, they are probably spraying nano-bots that could be activated by this HAARP?

      Whatever they are doing, it will have no impact when we have Faith in the Lord for his protection — that protection down to our DNA.

    Because of my chains, most of the brothers in the Lord have been encouraged to speak the word of God more courageously and fearlessly. Philippians 1:14

    A pastor imprisoned for his faith in Eritrea recently wrote to his wife:

    God, by His holy will, has prolonged my prison sentence to five years and four month. I very much long for the day that I will be reunited with you my dear wife, our children and God’s people in the church.

    My dear, listen to me—not only as a wife, but also as a Christian woman who has come to understand who God is and how deep and mysterious His ways are. Yes! I love you, I love the children, and I would love to be free in order to serve God. But, in here, God has made me not only a sufferer for His Name’s sake in a prison of this world over which Christ has won victory, but also a prisoner of His indescribable love and grace. I am testing and experiencing the love and care of our Lord every day.

    When they first brought me to this prison, I had thoughts which were contrary to what the Bible says. I thought the devil had prevailed over the church and over me. I thought the work of the gospel in Eritrea was over. But it did not take one day for the Lord to show me that He is a sovereign God and that He is in control of all things—even here in prison.

    The moment I entered my cell, one of the prisoners called me and said, “Pastor, come over here. Everyone in this cell is [unsaved]. You are very much needed here.” So, on the same day I was put in prison, I carried on my spiritual work.

    My dear, the longer I stay in here, the more I love my Saviour and tell the people here about His goodness. His grace is enabling me to overcome the coldness and the longing that I feel for you and for our children. Sometimes I ask myself, Am I out of my mind? Am I a fool? Well, isn’t that what the Apostle Paul said, “Whether I am of sound mind or out of my mind, I am Christ’s!”

    My most respected wife, I love you more than I can say. Please help the children understand that I am here as a prisoner of Christ for the greater cause of the gospel.

    RESPONSE: Today I will live in the awareness that God is in control of all that happens in my life. My suffering can contribute to the spiritual strength of others.

    PRAYER: Please pray for the wives and families of pastors imprisoned for their faith. Pray that they will be strengthened and an encouragement to others, despite their own pain.

  6. Some Verses Of Scripture — 2/26/17

    1 John 5:14-17

    14 Now this is the confidence we have before Him: Whenever we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. 15 And if we know that He hears whatever we ask, we know that we have what we have asked Him for.
    16 If anyone sees his brother committing a sin that does not bring death, he should ask, and God will give life to him—to those who commit sin that doesn’t bring death. There is sin that brings death. I am not saying he should pray about that. 17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin that does not bring death

    “Blasphemy Against The Holy Spirit Will Not Be Forgiven” — the example given in (Mark 3) — Someone states someone else in filled with demons, when in fact they are filled with the Holy Spirit”.
    In Matthew 12 — someone that speaks against the Holy Spirit. To me this says anyone who blames the Holy Spirit for something Satan did; otherwise it could be someone that gives credit to Satan for something the Holy Spirit did.

    We need to be very careful before we communicate that someone else is following witchcraft or something worse.

    Sometimes a person can be under a delusion which can include false doctrine and the Jezebel Spirit. Confirmation is needed that anything others are proclaiming came from the Lord. Anyone found guilty of false prophecy, will be judged harshly unless they repent. One must be careful before stating things like “This is what Jesus said … The Father Said this … The Holy Spirit spoke these words … Thus sayeth the Lord .. I’ve had these words in my spirit”…..

    Clarity, Discernment and Wisdom needed. We must test the spirits and if they don’t proclaim Jesus is the Son of God — Bye Bye they go!
    (God the Father sent Jesus into this world, who died for our sins and now is in heaven next to the Father).

    Mark 3:28-30
    28 I assure you: People will be forgiven for all sins and whatever blasphemies they may blaspheme.
    29 But whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—
    30 because they were saying, “He has an unclean spirit.”

    Matthew 12:31-32

    31 Because of this, I tell you, people will be forgiven every sin and blasphemy, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
    32 Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him. But whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the one to come.

    1 John 4:1-3

    Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to determine if they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
    2 This is how you know the Spirit of God: Every spirit who confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God. 3 But every spirit who does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist; you have heard that he is coming, and he is already in the world now.

    Mark 13:22 For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect.

    2 Peter 2:1 [ The Judgment of False Teachers ] But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you. They will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, and will bring swift destruction on themselves.

    Ezekiel 22:27-28

    27 “Her officials within her are like wolves tearing their prey, shedding blood, and destroying lives in order to make profit dishonestly. 28 Her prophets plaster with whitewash for them by seeing false visions and lying divinations, and they say, ‘This is what the Lord God says,’ when the Lord has not spoken.

    1. Hi Stig-Ove, you still get full credit for doing it, whether for many or for few and whether they respond or not.

      These are strange times. A few years ago I was hoping to build a small community of awake, remnant Christians here in Boise. We reached out a lot and were mostly rebuffed, but found a few people who seemed awake. However, lately they have been falling for deceptions like the Trump “revival” and don’t share our hearts to help the lost as judgments hit. So it’s just my wife and me now and probably my father-in-law, but he is less vocal because of all the resistance from his church community.

      So the numbers in the remnant seem to be shrinking, not growing. It’s like Gideon’s army which started out at 32,000 men, but God winnowed it down to 300!

      “The Lord said to Gideon, “The people who are with you are too many for Me to give Midian into their hands, for Israel would become boastful, saying, ‘My own power has delivered me.’ Now therefore come, proclaim in the hearing of the people, saying, ‘Whoever is afraid and trembling, let him return and depart from Mount Gilead.’” So 22,000 people returned, but 10,000 remained. Then the Lord said to Gideon, “The people are still too many; bring them down to the water and I will test them for you there. Therefore it shall be that he of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall go with you,’ he shall go with you; but everyone of whom I say to you, ‘This one shall not go with you,’ he shall not go.” So he brought the people down to the water. And the Lord said to Gideon, “You shall separate everyone who laps the water with his tongue as a dog laps, as well as everyone who kneels to drink.” Now the number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was 300 men; but all the rest of the people kneeled to drink water. The Lord said to Gideon, “I will deliver you with the 300 men who lapped and will give the Midianites into your hands; so let all the other people go, each man to his home.” So the 300 men took the people’s provisions and their trumpets into their hands. And Gideon sent all the other men of Israel, each to his tent, but retained the 300 men; and the camp of Midian was below him in the valley.” – Judges 7:2-8

    The Gate/The Road
    February 26,2017
    One is very narrow/One is very broad

    This was given to me several years ago……In this vision,very clearly I was taken to a huge field……Later,I was found standing between two roads…..On one side, the road was very long and wide and I saw many many people walking this road……..Many ,so many that there was NO room for anyone else to get on…..
    These people also I noticed had worn,wrinkled and torn white or what used to look like white garments.
    I was standing off to the side with the Lord and I watch so MANY on this wide road,it was so full, I figured no one else could get on,but it was a LONG road…….as people kept walking after awhile,I would hear screams…….

    As I looked over at the narrow gate,the path itself was very narrow and I saw only 2 or three on that path…..
    Here is the bottom line:::::::What the Lord showed me in this vision was soooooo MANY people are on the wide road,to hell,having allowed the world to overcome them……..
    Many are NOT ready to do the walk God asks of us…after all,its to hard…
    Many are not ready to hear truth or correction,so instead become offended….
    Many are not ready to come face to face eventually with a Holy God,living in fear and doubt. rather than victory….
    Many do not want to give up sin,it is easier to love the sin than it is to love God….and many want to believe that God doesn’t mind if there is a little sin around…….
    Many worship idols,what constitutes idolatry,what people,yes pastors ,family or anyone more important or takes priority above the Lord……Things that cause us to sin by how we look at them,how important something is……..
    Saints,its time to check our selves daily and stay with a repentant heart…Take inventory of your heart,and ask the Holy Spirit, he will reveal where your priorities really are……..

    After all we are to Seek the Kingdom first ,and then all these things will be added….

    Scripture References::

    Matt 6:33
    Acts 17:30

    Hos 4:6
    Matt 22:14
    Matt 10:28
    Matt 6:24
    Gal 5:16

    In conclusion::::::Be mindful and keep your ear attuned to the Holy Spirit……..What the King wants ,the King gets..Be mindful of your representation and whom you serve……..
    God bless you all…..Time is very short……

  8. Ask the Lord for confirmation of this information. The lady in this video is sharing a vision stating that the Anti-Christ is now here and is Obama. She references Revelation 12 and also states that many “Professing Christians” will fall for this deception, as the Anti-Christ will mimic Jesus himself.

    It will take great discernment from true believers during this time.

    Too me this means that some sort of “shape-shifting” will occur, so nobody will be able to see the true identity of the Anti-Christ.

    1. More about the Anti-Christ. This part of scripture came to mind:

      Proverbs 3:5
      5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart,
      And lean not on your own understanding;

      I had previously dismissed the idea of Obama being the anti-christ for several reasons: he’s no longer in power (that we know of), is not well liked and was not promising “peace and safety”.

      Discernment is very much required! The idea of “shape-shifting” into a form that others believe is Jesus himself — never crossed my mind. WOW!

      Anyone who reads the Bible knows that when Jesus returns, it won’t be to spread “Peace and Safety” and he won’t be coming quietly.

      Matthew 24:23-28 “Warning of False Messiah Who Can Fool Even The Elect”

      23 “If anyone tells you then, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘Over here!’ do not believe it! 24 False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 25 Take note: I have told you in advance. 26 So if they tell you, ‘Look, He’s in the wilderness!’ don’t go out; ‘Look, He’s in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 28 Wherever the carcass is, there the vultures will gather.

      Matthew 24:29-31 “Jesus Returns”

      29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days:
      The sun will be darkened,
      and the moon will not shed its light;
      the stars will fall from the sky,
      and the celestial powers will be shaken.
      30 “Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

        Where Gilgamesh(Nimrod) tomb was found in 2001 I think It was by Us forces they were surrounded by coalition forces.

        As some think The return Of Nimrod is The emergence of The Ac.

        Just a though.

        Liked by 1 person

      2. Judging by the world’s response of amazement and worship, it seems like the AC undergoes a miraculous transformation after he dies from a head wound and comes back to life:

        “I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?'” – Revelation 13:3-4

        This is consistent with Satan’s pattern of mimicking Christ, whose body was transformed after the resurrection. Someday our bodies will be transformed too:

        “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ; who will transform the body of our humble state into conformity with the body of His glory, by the exertion of the power that He has even to subject all things to Himself.” – Philippians 3:20-21

  9. Stig, after reading your comment I went and did a search on Nimrod. I truly have not studied that in scripture. Here’s a post where someone talks about the things you mentioned

    You can find Nimrod in Genesis 10, 1 Chronicles & Micah 5.

    There are people who claim that “King Nimrod” was that of Shinar, associated with the Tower Of Babel.

    On the Campaign Trail
    John 6:25–71

    Recommended Reading: Jeremiah 23:9–40; 1 Corinthians 1:18–25; 2 Timothy 4:1–8

    Jesus never ran for public office. Good thing, as he often violated the hidden rules for smooth-talking, get-along-with-everyone, slick politicians. In fact, some of the statements Jesus made would cause a campaign manager to pull out his hair in frustration.

    Just imagine Jesus speaking on the campaign trail. “You have seen me and still you do not believe” (John 6:36). “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled them” (John 6:65). “Very truly I tell you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you” (John 6:53). None of these statements seem politically correct, do they? Certainly, none could serve as a catchy campaign slogan.

    So why did Jesus say these things? Didn’t he want people to follow him? Why would he deliberately say things to offend people and turn them away?

    The simple conclusion seems to be that Jesus cared far more about the quality of his disciples than about their quantity. If he cared only about increasing the size of the crowds following him, he could easily have fed them more bread or performed more miracles. Or he could have toned down some of his “hard teaching” (John 6:60).

    But Jesus already knew who didn’t believe (see John 6:64). He knew that some of the people following him wanted only free food (see John 6:26) or a flashy sign from God (see John 6:30). Jesus didn’t want preoccupied followers. He wanted disciples who would proclaim, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life” (John 6:68).

    The same holds true today. Jesus wants us to follow him, but he still desires quality disciples. That level of commitment might mean living, saying and doing things that ruffle some feathers. As evangelist Billy Graham notes, “It is unnatural for Christianity to be popular.”

    To Take Away
    Do you think of yourself as a “quality” follower of Jesus? Why or why not?
    What “hard teachings” cause you to struggle with following Jesus?
    What steps can you take to become a more devoted follower of Jesus?

  11. In the book of Jasher compiled by Ken Johnson from a manuscript found in Cordoba,Spain in the 10th century there is a story of Esau killing Nimrod to prove his hunting skills. He then proceeded to cut off his head as a trophy.

    Now that sounds like a fatal headwound and does give a credibility to the idea of Nimrod being the rescurrected AC!
    I reckon an workable idea of rescurrecting Nimrod would be the cloning of his dna and bringing him forth to the world! Obama is Kenyan some say a replica of Akhenaten the Pharaoh. Pharaohs where a dynastic line stemming from Osiris the first pharaoh who was NIMROD!!! Let that sink in for a while.

    So there is a credible view to Nimrod being rescurrected and not having viewed the above video of shapechanging i can imagine that an person holding nephilim dna might be able to pull off a stunt like that since the devil can appear in many forms too.

    So his children might too have that ability.

  12. Assyrians as the ac is identified as an assyrian is the same people as the egyptians stemming from same paternal line. Also the Indian upper cast stems from sumerian/assyrian blood lines from where we get the word Aryan from the original inhabitants of Sumer/Assyria. Even today the modern Iranians are Aryans literally by heritage. The Mahdi in their moslem theology will appear from under the earth to bring the world under islam.

    So there might be some wizzely dizzely occult/Techno sorcery involved like Blue beam or actual supernatural stuff but it will come one way or the other.

  13. Much going on. A friend posted an article on Witches uniting against Trump. That certainly doesn’t surprise me, the part that did was the post he shared this morning with 70,000 members is now growing with branches all over. Certainly much to pray over, and Nimrod……..much to that and the other areas.

    Never in history can so much division be seen. It is almost daily I see someone who was sounding the alarm, now all for T and so on 😦
