Dream 08/02/16– Mass Executions

I woke up this morning (8/2/16) and remember a disturbing dream.

In this dream I was at a shopping mall, but did not know where this was.  There aren’t any of these near my house.  I was aware that many men were in the mall, shooting at anyone they came in site of.  Nobody in this mall was safe from an execution, as they didn’t care about your skin color, your religion, age or your gender.   If you were not part of their group, you were executed without question.

Nobody in the Mall was alive, except the terrorists.  I did not see the face of these men, nor what type of clothing they were wearing.

I just remember that a gun was pointed at my face, but it would not work when they pulled the trigger.  I immediately remember floating out of harms way, but circled the Mall above at a distance.  I would not call this flying, but it felt like someone else was in control.

That was when I woke up.

This dream tells me to expect protection beyond imagination, when we truly have faith.  I believe we will see many of our Brothers and Sisters in Christ be placed in horrific conditions.  Some will be saved in order to bring more into Heaven.  Psalm 91 is clearly brought to mind by this dream.

It’s important that we keep pushing on towards our goal by daily: repenting of any and all sin, reading the word, prayer and praise.   We can sin, just by thought and not action — remember what many have told us “Keep a short list with the Lord”.  We want to make sure that only our names our written in the book of life and we have no sin we haven’t repented for.

Psalm 91
The Protection of the Most High
1 The one who lives under the protection of the Most High
dwells in the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.”
3 He Himself will deliver you from the hunter’s net,
from the destructive plague.
4 He will cover you with His feathers;
you will take refuge under His wings.
His faithfulness will be a protective shield.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night,
the arrow that flies by day,
6 the plague that stalks in darkness,
or the pestilence that ravages at noon.
7 Though a thousand fall at your side
and ten thousand at your right hand,
the pestilence will not reach you.
8 You will only see it with your eyes
and witness the punishment of the wicked.
9 Because you have made the Lord—my refuge,
the Most High—your dwelling place,
10 no harm will come to you;
no plague will come near your tent.
11 For He will give His angels orders concerning you,
to protect you in all your ways.
12 They will support you with their hands
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
you will trample the young lion and the serpent.
14 Because he is lovingly devoted to Me,
I will deliver him;
I will protect him because he knows My name.
15 When he calls out to Me, I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble.
I will rescue him and give him honor.
16 I will satisfy him with a long life
and show him My salvation.

  1. Your vision reminds me Of the executions moslem terrorists did in Kenya i think it was. They asked people to recite the quran or be killed. The same pattern here perhaps asking to renounce faith in Christ or die.

The communist guerillas in Brazil called the Sendero luminoso or the luminous path once rounded up a village Of people and asked people who would renounce their christian faith to step forward and over half did.

But instead they executed the once WHO renounced their faith and said that those WHO stand for nothing are not fit to live!

There is a little real life example

      1. Very spot on dream, and how very encouraging! Many years ago I shared with my children, I believed there would come a time we would walk through walls. That was all God because in the natural, this could not be. I believe that time for those He has purposed to reach souls in these end times, anything with faith is possible……and even during lack of faith at times in our flesh…….look what He did for Elijah when he was fearful, depressed and had just called down fire from heaven!

I love the story too, of sometimes we remain:) Between Linda’s dream on humility and your post on your dream, along with the devotional………..much confirmation has been happening this past few days. I give the Lord all glory, honor and praise!!!!! Thank you Jesus

“I will show him how much he must suffer for my name.” Acts 9:16

These are the words of Jesus to Ananias when Saul of Tarsus had an encounter with Jesus on the road to Damascus. Though Saul, who became the Apostle Paul, resorted to flight several times in his missionary work, he did not try to avoid persecution as a life style practice. Indeed in 2 Corinthians 11:23-27, Paul outlines and describes the repeated persecution he had endured for Christ.

The Bible and history are replete with examples of those who in the will of God refused to flee but stayed and endured the persecution to the point of self-sacrifice and even martyrdom.

A few years ago I was in Thailand for some organizational meetings. One of my colleagues brought a Vietnamese pastor to meet me who was in great anguish. His story touched me deeply.

Pastor Vin was at home in Vietnam one earlier evening when a parishioner knocked on the door. He had just met a sizable group of North Korean refugees who had trekked through China and become lost in the Vietnamese jungle. They were emaciated, ragged and fearful.

The Pastor invited the refugees to his home where they were fed and his people brought them adequate clothing. But what now? If discovered by the Vietnamese authorities, they would be repatriated to North Korea to certain death or life in labor camp. Their only hope was to seek asylum in neighboring Cambodia which did not have an extradition agreement with North Korea.

Then came a second knock on the door. It was the parishioner again. The Vietnamese authorities had been tipped off that North Korean refugees were in the area and were actively searching for them.

Pastor Vin knew the jungle route to Cambodia and knew what he had to do. Bidding his family farewell, he set off with the group of refugees and led them safely through the jungle to the capital of Cambodia where they successfully sought asylum as refugees.

But the Vietnamese authorities soon became aware of what the pastor had done. They notified his wife that he would be arrested and imprisoned immediately upon his arrival home. He fled further west to neighboring Thailand for safety.

The night I met him in Thailand he was in tears. His wife was scheduled for surgery the next day in the hospital back home in Vietnam. She so wanted him to be there with her during this trying time. Yet he could not safely return home. He was in a quandary. We prayed together that God would be with his wife in her medical emergency and give him wisdom to know what to do.

Later I heard from our colleague that Mrs. Vin’s surgery was successful and that Pastor Vin, knowing what he would face, returned home to Vietnam. He was immediately arrested and placed under house detention. But he used his time at home discipling new believers.

Fleeing is not the only option when persecution strikes. There are times when God’s will is for us to stay and face the music!

RESPONSE: Today I will stay in tune with God’s Spirit so that I will know what responses He wants me to make.

PRAYER: Help me Lord to be aware of Your purposes in the events and challenges of my life.

  3. Will You Be Faithful
    Aug 03, 2016 06:00 am | Glynda Linkous

You have asked Me for great revelation. Are you ready to see? Can your heart handle what I will show you about what is to come, about the truths hidden in My Word?

Can you bear the knowledge, truly? Will you be faithful with what I reveal to you?

Ephesians 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)

    Matthew 10:7-8

7 And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.

8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

Luke 16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.

1 Corinthians 4:1 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

  4. He is shouting across the land to those who have an ear to hear, readying and yes, even correcting those things in His way. Here I am Lord, send me, is my hearts desire. The flesh is weak often, but the spirit is willing. Thank You Lord for dying for me, for Your love and forgiveness.

Luke 7:36-50New King James Version (NKJV)
    A Sinful Woman Forgiven

36 Then one of the Pharisees asked Him to eat with him. And He went to the Pharisee’s house, and sat down to eat. 37 And behold, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at the table in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster flask of fragrant oil, 38 and stood at His feet behind Him weeping; and she began to wash His feet with her tears, and wiped them with the hair of her head; and she kissed His feet and anointed them with the fragrant oil. 39 Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he spoke to himself, saying, “This Man, if He were a prophet, would know who and what manner of woman this is who is touching Him, for she is a sinner.”

40 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Simon, I have something to say to you.”

So he said, “Teacher, say it.”

41 “There was a certain creditor who had two debtors. One owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty. 42 And when they had nothing with which to repay, he freely forgave them both. Tell Me, therefore, which of them will love him more?”

43 Simon answered and said, “I suppose the one whom he forgave more.”

And He said to him, “You have rightly judged.” 44 Then He turned to the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I entered your house; you gave Me no water for My feet, but she has washed My feet with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head. 45 You gave Me no kiss, but this woman has not ceased to kiss My feet since the time I came in. 46 You did not anoint My head with oil, but this woman has anointed My feet with fragrant oil. 47 Therefore I say to you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.”

48 Then He said to her, “Your sins are forgiven.”

49 And those who sat at the table with Him began to say to themselves, “Who is this who even forgives sins?”

50 Then He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

    1. So very, very aware that without Him we are mere dust…..and the flesh, will be a battle till we are home. BUT, in Him, the power of the Living God will flow to finish His purposes. There are times I question if the boldness and the love will continue when all breaks loose. It’s during those times, I realize how powerful He is, how loving, because those are the exact times the discipline/correction come, grief over my sin comes, followed by repentance yet again and His Presence/winds of refreshing come again………during the storm. Lord, You always amaze me…..

It is then I realize there is NOTHING in this world I want, have ever really wanted, and others think I am bonkers. Even family are pulling away more and more. The warnings get stronger, the running away to things of the world, seems to grow…… He will do what we cannot or may think we cannot in those moments doubt can attack. It’s those times, He shows Himself so very powerfully, to point all the glory to Him, not mere man. The scripture, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” takes on new meaning and depths.

Loving our enemies,,,,,wow, only He could make a way to do that! I’m so very grateful to be called His child. I pray to be counted worthy and lead souls, souls, souls to Jesus.

      1. Excellent thoughts Sonshine. Thanks for sharing them with us.
We are going to need 100% faith in the Lord for things we are still to face. May the Lord reveal to each and everyone of us, what we are needing to still do to get prepared. Some may be called to move, with no prior knowledge of the place (see Glynda’s message for today). Some may need to stay put and prepare a place of refuge. We all need to be prepared in the Word, Prayer and Worship. Some of us may face betrayal by people we never thought possible. May the Lord have mercy on anyone proclaiming to be “Part of The Bride, Ready For the Lord’s Return, True Christians, etc.”, and then they decide to betray us. It can happen. Look what Judas Iscariot (one of the original 12 disciples) did to Jesus. We have to forgive everyone, including our enemies and those that betray us.

  5. Change of Place
    Aug 04, 2016 06:00 am | Glynda Linkous

For some of My children, where you are now is nowhere near where I will move you. I have a destiny planned for you in a different place that you know not of.
You have arrived at the land you are now by your own means, but you shall arrive at a new land by Mine.
Be ready for a change of place.

Genesis 12:1 Now the Lord had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:

John 21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, When thou wast young, thou girdest thyself, and walkedst whither thou wouldest: but when thou shalt be old, thou shalt stretch forth thy hands, and another shall gird thee, and carry thee whither thou wouldest not.

Proverbs 16:9 A man’s heart deviseth his way: but the Lord directeth his steps.

  7. There’s been claims of Satanic influence on Walt Disney from years ago. You can search the internet now and see many that claim there is a current connection with the Satanic Illuminati.

“The rules of engagement have changed. Evil forces have engaged and taken drastic steps to bring down My witness. Evil forces rant, rave, devour in an attempt to destroy My witness, if that were possible.

There are many, many things My children must learn and it will be through adversity these lessons are learned. My Word you ignored, choosing easy beliefism and now the lessons you could have learned through reading and studying you now must learn in distress and contrition.

An attack comes soon upon this nation. Do not let your guard down, stay alert, wrap tightly in My armor (Ephesians6) and remember, quoting often; ‘greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world’.

Children of the King trim your lamps, put on the full armor of Christ and engage in the battle. Do not expect defeat, expect victory. Your weapons are not carnal but mighty to the pulling down of strongholds.

You must exercise great faith in weeks ahead as one then another you see great changes. You will be ask to come higher, to commit more, to believe for the impossible. Child of Mine, do you have the faith to believe for what the human mind cannot understand? Your devotion to Me will be tested in the crucible of affliction. Your life though a vapor will seem endless as daily you struggle to balance what you know of My Word and what you are seeing in the world. Around you grows great darkness – do not allow the darkness to overtake you.”

“Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness?” 2 Corinthians 6:14
“Therefore take heed, so that the thing spoken of in the Prophets may not come upon you…” Acts 13:40
“Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:1-2

Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Proverbs 31:8

Jesus’ basic communication theory in Matthew 12 is that people speak and act from the overflow of what is in their heart. Jeremiah and others remind us that the heart can be exceedingly wicked. One of Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn’s famous statements is “The line of good and evil cuts through the heart of every human being.”

Christian persecution within a country or state rarely happens suddenly or in isolation. It is most often a process. Some years ago Rev. Dr. Johan Candelin, who headed the World Evangelical Alliance’s (WEA) Religious Liberties Commission recognized this and devised a three-stage process of what happens leading up to persecution becoming entrenched in any society. He labeled the three stages of downward spiral as disinformation, discrimination and persecution. Dr. Candelin later expanded it to a six-stage process with each of the three having a passive, then active, aspect.

Dr. Jim Cunningham and I included this process in the first edition of Standing Strong Through the Storm (SSTS) and in our seminars.

Some academicians and wordsmiths found it problematic to label the third stage with the same word as that of the process. So we began to wrestle with this issue from a sociological, historical and biblical perspective. We found interesting academic parallels. For example, in 1996, Professor Gregory Stanton, President of Genocide Watch, proposed an excellent model of an eight stage process of genocide. There are interesting similarities between this downward spiral and what psychologist John Gottman has labeled as the four most likely predictors of divorce.

When we accepted Jesus’ four verb definition of persecution in Luke 6:22, we then found four clear biblical steps in understanding the downward spiral in the process of persecution: opposition, disinformation, injustice and mistreatment. We will look at these four steps forming the acronym ODIM individually over the next four days.

Why is this important to you and me? Just today I read again the poignant words of German theologian Martin Niemoller written after he had been imprisoned for eight years in concentration camps as the personal prisoner of Adolf Hitler:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.

And then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

RESPONSE: Today I will speak out for the rights of those who have no voice to speak for themselves.

PRAYER: Help me, Lord, to be aware of the forces of evil that conspire against Your Kingdom.

  10. Everyone is in urgent mode. We are certainly not alone in what we are hearing and prayer! Last night, Russ D on Revelations black horse….Russ had urgency in his voice and was speaking of having food and water on hand…….he’s not the only one. Even the pre tribbers are being told to stock up for the trib saints…..so many as I check in on other sites, etc. The Lord is certainly moving across His saints with the same message (in a sense with some) but still the same knowing it is here.

  11. Thanks for sharing that Link. Not sure why any are still believing the “Pre Tribulation” lie, as most have stated we are already in Tribulation so they should be wondering “Why was I left Behind”? Many are under that false belief that matches the “Left Behind” fictional series. We can still glean some important messages from anyone the Lord chooses 🙂

  12. So true James. When that series came out I had a huge check in my spirit. But, we don’t have to throw the baby out with the bath water. There are things that could possibly lead a new Christian astray, but it is amazing to see those following pre trib, preparing suddenly with hearing things such as for the trib saints. Either way, they are preparing:)

    1. After watching this video, I searched “Tomorrowland”, there was a clip in the video that got my attention, mostly because of the millions of kids there and also because of the eye on the stage backdrop. This is truly demonic and is targeting our kids. They have millions and millions of followers. I went to YouTube and watched several videos and a few minutes (all I could stand) of one that used the music from the movie “Close Incounters of the Third Kind”. Everyone remember that one? The video begins with this music and a close-up picture of a very large, creepy face who’s eyes move. This face is the backdrop on a very large stage. For now this “Tomorrowland” show is in Europe, in (I’m guessing) 6-8 countries. The children of the world our under attack. They covet wanting to be at this show.

I’m asking that that we pray for our children, youth and all young adults to turn away from this collectively evil trick to have them turn away from worshipping God.

    The Adventure of a Lifetime

For many years sporting enthusiasts had a limited number of options. We all knew them: baseball, soccer, football, basketball, golf, hockey, tennis, and a handful of other games that most people recognized and understood. These sports were not dangerous (unless the rules were broken). Then, in the 1980s and 1990s things began to change. A whole new generation of sports began to emerge. Out of the labor pains of a generation looking for a bigger rush and greater risks, birth was given to a class of sports that have been classified as “extreme.” “What would happen if I tied a bungee cord to my ankles and jumped off a bridge?” “Could I strap a snowboard to my feet, launch off a jump, do two flips, and still land without breaking my neck?” “Is it possible to take a motorcycle off a jump, slide off the seat, let the bike get so far ahead of me that it seems I am flying like Superman, grab the seat at the last moment, pull the motorcycle back to me, and get back on the seat before it lands?”

All such questions, and countless more, have been answered by a generation looking for a new thrill and a greater sporting high. From body numbing triathlons to snowboard skydiving to extreme ice climbing, the human spirit and body have been pushed to the outer limits.

What is it in us that longs for a higher mountain to climb and an infusion of new adventure in our lives? God created us with a need to live by faith. He wants us to enter a journey of faith that will make our hearts beat fast with excitement and anticipation. Stepping out in faith, taking risks, experiencing the excitement of new things — these are all part of God’s plan for his followers.

Anyone who thinks the Christian life is boring has never read the history of Israel. God called his people to places they never dreamed they could go. He gave them assignments that could never be accomplished without his miraculous power breaking in. The history of Israel is a series of faith stories that will inspire, encourage, and teach us as we learn to step out in faith.

As the history of Israel unfolds, we see example after example of people who have gone before us and learned about stepping out in faith. We look over the shoulders of key biblical figures and learn from their experiences.

We watch Joshua lead the people as they cross the swollen Jordan River, and we learn to take the first step of faith even when it might not make sense.
The judges model both good and bad examples of following God, and they show us what we should do and what we should not do if we want to walk by faith.
Samuel learns to listen to God, and we discover that hearing and obeying God’s voice are part of his plan for all of his followers.
Saul lacks confidence to live by faith, but his mistakes help us avoid pitfalls on our journey.
Finally, our courage grows as we discover that Jesus is revealed throughout the Old Testament and that he is leading and guiding his people on the greatest adventure of all.

Followers of Christ might enjoy engaging in many sports, including some extreme ones, but we have a greater rush than any sport can offer. God invites us on an adventure of following him, step by step, on the most amazing journey of faith ever imagined.

Ask God to help you enter a new level of commitment to follow him on the adventure of a lifetime.
