Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, 10 and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. 11 Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, 12 in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will depart from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and the teachings of demons, 2 through the hypocrisy of liars whose consciences are seared. 3 They forbid marriage and demand abstinence from foods that God created to be received with gratitude by those who believe and know the truth. 4 For everything created by God is good, and nothing should be rejected if it is received with thanksgiving, 5 since it is sanctified by the word of God and by prayer.

Hello James from Captain Bill, Just a couple of thoughts having to do with your pertinent and timely information for today….Conditioning or hardening off , toughening, or in general the ability to emotionally “handle” the psychological trauma soon to be inflicted on all of us by lying signs and wonders, (miracle working by satan and his own) is essential for our own sanity and emotional well being. In other words…Get used to it now by acclimating to the environment of chaos, deception, magic, wonders, and mind torture BEFORE we are in the middle of it all. Knowledge IS power. It is my desire for the People of God to be empowered with knowledge and experience, so as to be able to function in an berserk and surreal spiritual climate. We can remain “cool” calm and collected only if we are fully awake and fully aware of all evil ploys inundating us. We need not be overwhelmed and crazed by what is coming. We need to “get real” so we can deal with the “unreal” or extreme… I suggest viewing a short video to help toughen the human psyche…Check this out. Criss Angel believe: Criss rips bodies apart (on spike) for instance, is a great way to experience just a smidgen of what’s coming our way. Criss Angel and David Blaine, as well as a host of others are Satanists. Criss even has a #13 tattooed on his arm signifying that he belongs to, or is part of the rebellion against God’s authority. I agree that those who put our trust in the Lord, are fully awake and daily follow his will — should have nothing to worry about. We are going to see some horrific things, that some of us may have seen in Science Fiction or other places. We all need to listen to the Holy Spirit for direction. What works for some, may not work for others. I personally would not watch any videos from known Satanists. I have a large prior knowledge-base from Science Fiction and have seen or read a lot of what now is slowly becoming a reality in many areas. What we should be seeking is Wisdom, Clarity and Discernment in all things. We could put ourselves at greater risk, if we don’t listen to the Holy Spirit for ourselves and our own situations.

Bill, I agree we need to mentally, emotionally and spiritually toughen ourselves to process what we will soon see and experience. If we’re all walking around in a daze with PTSD, how much good can we do? Personally I like Mad Max: Fury Road. 🙂
But really it comes down to faith. Do we trust God is good, all-powerful and is our strong tower?

Due to my eccentricities, difficulty abounds when attempting to communicate with most people these days. (Well… possibly the problem is theirs and not mine…lol.) Yes Mike, We will be tested in our ability to trust God through experiencing MUCH adversity and hardship. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I pray that I will remain true through the test. The Father is everything He claims to be…He promises to keep me and help me. When things get tough, He who lives in me is tougher. I can bank on that truth. On another note….I checked out the Mad Max trailer. HEEEOWWWW. Those guys are taking a walk on the wild side. And I thought I had it bad being shipwrecked in the Ozarks L.O.L.

THE PEACEMAKERS
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9
With the possession of a meek spirit, we are equipped to step into the midst of conflict and be ambassadors “waging peace” that passes all understanding. The richness of the New Testament word “peace” describes a condition of perfect and complete positive well-being. It also describes right relationships—intimate fellowship and goodwill between human beings. Peace comes not from avoiding issues but from facing them, making peace even when the way is through trouble.
Blessed are those peacemakers who produce right relationships in every sphere of life, for they are doing a God-like work.
Such actions may involve laying down one’s life, like Jesus did, in order to reconcile men with God and break down barriers among men (Galatians 3:26-29). Are we willing to pay the price so that others might find peace with God? Are we willing to insist that all should hear the Gospel and believe? In some conflict areas of the world, Christians call this “waging peace.”
Our brothers and sisters in Israel and the West Bank—where “peace” is sought but very evasive—remind us that Jesus’ high moral teaching is that we should not resist evil with evil (Matthew 5:39). Jesus is calling His followers not to respond in kind to the acts of injustice and dehumanization directed against them, but rather to respond with transforming initiatives. This unique perspective that He teaches contrasts with the “fight or flight” responses so deeply conditioned in human beings.
Dr. Salim Munayer is a wonderful example of such a peacemaker. The organization he founded takes groups of Christian Palestinians and Israelis on trips to the desert where they must work together in a situation that breaks down barriers and promotes trust relationships. Brother Andrew comments that this ministry doesn’t “just talk about the problem between Palestinians and Jews. It brings the two sides together and provides the means for them to reconcile.”
“Waging peace” involves: promoting love not hate; fostering unity among brethren; being a witness of a higher kingdom; and following the non-violence example of Jesus.
RESPONSE: Today I will be proactive and “wage peace” in my sphere of influence.
PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace. May I counter hatred with love and injury with forgiveness today.

Question to ask ourselves: What are you going to do if someone calls you or shows up at your door needing help and that person has hurt you in your past? That hurt could be real or just perceived. We best forgive everyone and remove that selfishness out of our hearts! We may be asked to help those that don’t know the Lord, have walked away from the Lord or have gone into a secluded state of mind by placing themselves in an exclusive club where everyone is elevated above the rest and all members are given titles and membership rules.
We must forgive everyone and keep them in prayer. The Jezebel Spirit is in “high gear” right now and so many are falling for this big time!

I was taken to hell a third time to be shown some of the plots of the enemy…..Satan’s army is getting ready to march. You will not recognize the church in the future…….Many will close down for lack of funds,poverty will be at an all time high…….bankruptcy will go off the charts……loans and easy financing will not be available….I saw the stock markets,Dow Jones erratically go up and down and then it ceased .it flattened out…nothing!!!!!!!!!!and when that happened the leaders thew up their hands and walked out,just left it all………
I saw saints of God fall over,or swaying ,prayers of witch craft was being prayed over them and made them weak……they were tired and caught unaware,some were so isolated that it made them an easy target or the enemy…….(NOTE PLEASE)This is why it is so vital to start coming into unity,not lone rangers(Hello<is anyone hearing,this is very important)
With the coming of the N.W.O. and it will not be long will come Martial Law…,right now plans are in place to whack off sections of land not just for Fema ,but to gather people in closer together,you will not have any exit because it will be areas where you can cross to go anywhere……Monitoring for food ,groceries ,medical and banking ,even to taking a walk,all will be monitored………..

The Judgment of God is upon our land………How we handle this is going to determine in part where our eternal destination will be……Don't take this likely,I beseech you…….It is a crucial time and every soul must come to grips with this and our decision will effect the outcome………

I am in agreement about coming together in unity now as Brothers and Sisters in Christ and not becoming loners or elitist group members. No doubt James…I stand in agreement.
I don’t watch TV during the day…I listen to worship music. As the last two events, of police officers being shot and killed and also wounded. I’ve been led to turn the TV on as these events were Breaking in the News. I‘m sure the purpose was to pray for all involved. Today I was led to turn the TV on to find that a press conference was and is being led by the officials of Baton Rouge, LA as I write this.
As I listen to each one talk I can feel the pain in their words and action. I’ve been reminded that not all law and government officials are part of the evil of our leadership. These men have all mentioned prayer and the love of God in one way or another as they did their speaking. The Governor said, “If you see me out and about and want to pray, stop, I got you”. Other’s nodded in agreement. Some voices broke as they spoke.
I’m led to pray for theses man, the Governor, the Mayor, The Sheriff, the Chief of Police and the FBI agent in charge.
Dear Heavenly Father, We come to You in adoration and thanksgiving of Your love and faithfulness to us as we ask You in “Jesus Name” to heal these man and all others who have been hurt by all this tragedy here and around the world. We ask for wisdom and conviction of truth for all they do. We ask for Your protection for all the saints as they go about the business of doing their jobs. Father we ask that You cover those who have lost their loved ones with your loving arms, drawing them ever nearer to thee as they move through the days ahead. We ask that they turn to You and only You for their source of comfort and strength. We ask Lord that You convict any and all involved who may know the source of these attacks to come forward and release information. Finally Father we ask for blessings to be showered over all. Thank you Father and Praise You for all Your loving ways. We love You Lord and we honor Your will. We ask these favors and blessings in Your Son, Jesus Name, Amen –

The loner or elitist club term strikes my interest. Firstly many people see Christians who follow the bible as holier than thou individuals no matter what they say or do. Secondly spreading or even referencing the gospel has a tendency to make you a loner!
These things i have witnessed first hand and maybe im wrong but….

Perhaps J.C. means that in the coming times, when people don’t know which end is up or where to turn, that some people will be much more receptive to our Gospel Message. At that point, we must be ready to reach out (??)

I understand your point of view Stig-Ove. Many none-Christians do in fact view Christians as elitists, and they have good reasoning behind that thought. Most of that is due to false “Churchian” doctrines, and also the fact that too many Christians try telling others that they must belong to a Church and some go as far as Judging people instead of showing the characteristics of Christ.
We all tend to feel as “loners”, when most people around us are still snoozing.
What really makes me sick is when we have “awake” brothers and sisters in Christ that have fallen for the Jezebel Spirit and are now entrenched in an elitist club. So much evil is out there now and is in full force against true believers. Many prophets have fallen away — some have even turned their gift into a marketing tool to be used online in the way of selling something or requesting “love gifts” — EWWW!

I have been in more INTENSE intercession (taking a fast from my blog) . . . And what the Holy Spirit has shown me, regarding the “mixture” within the prophetic . . . And delusion over-all within a HUGE number of professing Christians, is this:
The Vision given to Rick Joyner, that he wrote up in “The Final Quest” is what we are seeing now. So many are in delusion and think they are serving the LORD, but are in deception.
I found an audio version of Rick Joyner’s book on YouTube and listened to about 45 min of it last night and plan on listening to more of it today . . . But . . . Intercession is a KEY to helping our siblings-in-Christ be set free from these demonic forces. It does NOT mean they don’t love the LORD. . No, not at all, it just means they have been captured and don’t realize it.
We EACH must diligently ask the Holy Spirit to search our ENTIRE life, to see if WE have any “mixture” within us. If we do, we have an open door to demonic influences that cloud our ability to know the TRUTH that will set us free.
OH MAN . . . The prayer focus has been intense, for I’m not willing to see more siblings taken out. . . . So PLEASE, first ask for the Holy Spirit to do a review of your life, do as HE directs you to do and join me in spiritual warfare for our siblings-in-Christ. It’s very likely at least one person who reads this comment may be in this delusion and does not know it. I pray that EACH and EVERY person submit to the Sovereignty of the LORD . . . To repent . . To forgive and to be set free, with healing, restoration and anointing.

I’m in agreement James and Linda and I have an example of the very thing you speak of here. That is NOT KNOWING—BEING FOOLED!
With your permission James, I will post what I was prompt to write this morning about this Jezebel spirit and the effect it had on my family and I just recently. I was listening to Timothy Alberino and Steve Quayle on Hagmann recently. Alberino talked about an experience of deception and delusion during his earlier days in Peru. He said that deception is not just being tricked into believing a lie. It is a satanic spiritual POWER over a person.
This got me thinking about things the Apostle Paul said about the power of the Spirit.
“My message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.” – 1 Corinthians 2:4-5
“For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.” – 1 Corinthians 4:20
It seems the way to overcome a power is to smash it with a GREATER POWER. I think the deception and delusion we see manifesting are not primarily intellectual problems or lack of information. They are battles of power and we win by operating in the GREATER POWER of God’s Spirit.

Adam and Eve were sinless when they were in the Garden of Eden, AND they walked with God. THEY GOT DECEIVED!!! We are living at the end of the age, in a fallen sinful world, where Satan rules as e prince of the air. Anybody who thinks they can’t be deceived, unless submitted fully to the LORD, in ALL areas, is already in deception.
LORD HELP US ALL . . Show us Any area in our lives that may be an open door to the demonic, so we can REPENT, receive forgiveness and be set free.

I believe you are 100% correct. Bette Stevens mentioned a few months ago that there was a “demonic spirit” (power) of false peace over this nation. In the same way, “deception” can very well be a “demonic spirit.”
(After all, isn’t satan the great “deceiver”?)
Yes, the POWER of the Holy Spirit active within us will be the only POWER to conquer the “false demonic power.” (“For we do not battle against flesh and blood.”)

That Pokemon game is straight from hell. I used to be heavily into computer games back in the 1990s and early 2000s and only prayer relieved me from that addiction. If you are into gaming real heavy you can use easily 8-12 hours a day just for that. It is a real brainwasher, i talk from experience.

Yes i noticed and what i also noticed was the reference to a dungeon master. I dont know how familiar you are with role playing games here but does it surprise you i played them also back in my young days.
Essentially a DM tells the players what is happening and based on their skillsets they react to the situation and perform the scenario told by the DM.
This here is becoming a live RPG soon and people who are totally dissassociated with reality will be guided directly through tech like this. Next step might be tech like chips who are implanted that stimulate pleasure centers in the body and voila you have a real zombie population directed by stimulants for obedience.
Not that farfetched in my eyes, i have studied and read real science and Scifi for years!

Well this Pokémon game is essentially Pavlovian. The dogs salivate once they hear the Bell for stimulus. In pavlovs case he used food, technology has refined this so much that the subjects salivate and anticipate reward by digital pictures only.

I also played Dungeons and Dragons for a short time in college. It was addictive . . . That ended when the dungeon master stopped playing . . .looking back, that was actually protection. Since this came up in conversation, I pray, Father forgive me for participating in that demonic game. I ask that in the name of Yahshua, our Messiah.

I can only say for some reason, one I don’t have an answer for…I have always had a strong dislike for these games. I’m thankful I did. I couldn’t tolerate the sounds they make. Right from the start when video games were introduced they messed with something in me that would cause anxiety and soon angry. I hated when my son played these game and was sorry I ever allowed them.

I played all kinds Of games RPG, 3D shooters, strategy games, mmponlg:s, board games, card games what have you. Nowadays i occasionally play by iPad some strategy games but mostly family business and work and reading now.
IF i sometimes get the time i would like to indulge myself in miniature warfare strategy where you paint and build the Map from scratch to play a battle. But IF the Lord dont return its still maybe 10+ years in the future.

Also, this teaching will be very helpful for anyone who finds themselves in need.
This is a story about a Jezebel spirit…
If you remember…back a while ago, several+ weeks I asked for prayer for my daughter and her family. I shared that they were being attacked and that it was bad. I didn’t share details because I was led to only ask for prayer. I still am not able to share some of the details; however, I can share the following.
In this experience the Holy Spirit led some of my family through a series of lessons (teaching, always teaching) to cleanse ourselves of the fear, worry and doubt that covered us like a very dark cloud. These emotions are all sinful.
Through much prayer from many and mostly the Holy Spirit we were literally led to those who could help. By the power of Jesus and the Blood He shed for us and due to obeying Him we were released from this spirit and are healing in God’s arms. WE ARE WARRIORS AND NEVER FORSAKEN!!!
This was a very strong Jezebel spirit one that ended up reaching out to others besides my daughter and family, including myself. Many were taught hard lessons, including myself. I Praise God and give Him all the Glory that the lessons were learned NOW, and that in the end God’s will was and continues to be done.
These jezebel spirits were coming from the leadership (all the way at the top) in the church and were exceptionally troubling. There were lies being spread that could destroy people, my family if believed. Because the attacks were coming from within the church directed by the leader and because of the magnitude of the attacks it threw us into fear first, then worries and doubt. It hit me like a rock. My reaction overwhelmed me.
The church is the last place one would expect to be viciously attacked. BUT… this is exactly what Jesus teaches us, that NO ONE or nothing is true to its word but HIM. We are to be vigilant, watchful, hawk-eyed of evil and ALWAYS AND FOREVER place our thrust in Him and ONLY Him. We are to go to Him in prayer ALWAYS and FIRST for direction, discernment and confirmation. We must TRUST and HONOR Him with our requests and troubles. Trusting and having faith in Him gives us the ability to hear Him…to know He is God, the GREAT I AM…NOT MAN! When we do this He provides us the answers and shows us the way to conquer, through Him, any and all problems.
I’d like to add…this IS what Linda and Bette and also many others have been warning us about for as long as I’ve been part of this blog. It’s my humble opinion that first you have to experience a vicious, ruthless attack to know where you stand with the Lord. This is the subtleness, (i.e.…so slight as to be difficult to detect or describe; elusive) of the enemy that we are warned of. If our lives are so very perfect how can we know where we stand when it gets REALLY BAD???!!! And it’s going to get REALLY BAD!

This was truly a spiritual lesson that taught the young and the old within our family unit. It has changed relationships for the purpose of unity that will ultimately be used to increase God’s Kingdom. Those involved know, NOW, that we all know God is in control and we have learned to take everything we read or are taught (by man) to the Lord in prayer.
This was a lesson I was trying to teach my daughter and family for a very long time, years. But a leader of a church can’t be wrong…is the mine set. This is the lie!
The Lord had shown me long ago that something was very wrong in this church. There was something dark within this church. I felt it every time we attended a special event that included our grandchildren. I was in prayer along with others asking for direction for a long time, praying that my loved ones would see, feel and hear the truth. At first (years ago) I was confused myself, thinking, but this is a leader in a church…however, soon I had my own experience, confirmation that what I was feeling was correct. I was also hearing and seeing behaviors out of my daughter and family that did not line up with the word of God. I was heartbroken as any parent would be.
After my own personal spiritual experiences two+ years ago I came to understand how the enemy was everywhere, EVEN in the church. Sadly, I was living under a rock for most of my life….trust whatever I was told. As I grew in my walk with Christ and learned to hear His direction, I was able to approach the subject with my daughter of what I was shown in this church, but only when Holy Spirit directed me to do so. He directed me to be silent unless I had direction from Him…as the flesh would drive a wedge and push this family deeper into the clutches of the enemy.
So how can one be so in tune with the Holy Spirit and then fall flat on their face in times of trouble? I knew God had this; I knew He was in charge, He had been directing me all along for such a time as this. Where did I falter?
The first mistake I made… was NOT trusting the Lord immediately upon hearing of the circumstances and magnitude of the attacks on my loved ones and not turning to Him for help. Another thing I had done was to grow to think badly of some of the people that were around my daughter and her family…another sinful action. I blamed them for dragging my family down. I also didn’t recognize Gods hand in all that was being presented.
I need to stop here and add…”Trust and Obey” is playing right now as I write this. Very timely indeed. “Trust and obey for there’s no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey”!

This story is an example of what is going to happen to all who are not prepared…I was not prepared!!! I see now, that this was the lesson, to show me I was not prepared and to also show me where I was sinning. It’s an eye opener to find out that you’re not as strong and grounded as you think. When we’re not, we open ourselves to the fear, worry and doubt (all sins) which certainly are not of God. These emotions are all intended reaction…and the enemy scores.
Praise the Lord for showing us this and so it didn’t take long to recognize the sin and to go into prayer humbly asking Him for forgiveness. It was at this time that I ask the Lord to show me any and all sin that I was not aware of…He did so and I was able to repent, ask for His forgiveness and mercy and start to receive His blessings. Upon doing this the Holy Spirit began giving clear directions (simultaneously) to several of us who were involved. It was then that we were on our way to being healed, although, we didn’t see that right away. Holy Spirit gave me clear and precise direction and showed me where to go for help. …That’s another story…a very humbling experience, one that will ultimately teach us more, more, more and will include more healing and direction for all. He placed us in good hands. Another family who was led to stand up for our family and the truth has also been directed to a place that will help them as well.
We give God all the Glory…as we thank Him and Honor Him and Praise Him for His love and faithfulness.
This Jezebel spirit still resides in this church but many have been awakened to it because it was confronted. That was the whole reason the attacks began…lies and deception were being confronted. Through the years and after many prayers, the Lord began to show the “truth” to my loved ones. When He did that, they worked to bring truth to the church; it was then that they began to be attacked.
We pray for all who are and will be affected by this spirit that they will come into truth by way of relying on the Lord for direction. We also pray for the leadership in this church. We have forgiven all who were and are involved. We trust that God is in the middle of this and we know ‘His will” will be done.
We have all found peace in our Lord Jesus Christ and His promise to always protect us.
GOD IS IN CONTROL…AMEN AND AMEN

Hi Peggy, Stig, James and Linda, I’ve got a few minutes this afternoon so why not spend it with my new found friends. (you guys)… While stringing up tomato plants today in the 100 degree weather, I gave some thought to this falling away condition occurring just before the anti-Christ is revealed… I love to study The Word.. Because of my being shipwrecked smack dab in the middle of the Ozark mountain range on 185 acres of seclusion, I’ve had time to search for answers to my many questions. Eleven years to be exact. I studied this falling away subject a couple of years ago and arrived at some concrete conclusions….The falling away means apostasy according to my word study in Strong’s and other sources. The saints falling into error thinking they are accurate in their belief system. The apostasy or falling away is the LOVE message….Now, before you beat me about the head and shoulders, to the degree that each blow is more devastating than its predecessor, allow me to explain how I arrived at this profound and accurate conclusion. There is absolutely NO SIN or BLOOD mentioned in today’s love message, whether it be delivered Saturday, Sunday, or on any other day of the week. No sin….No blood. Why is this? It’s because the sin word is not good for our self esteem, so we’ll just eliminate the topic of sin. Now let’s consider blood…..Messy, gory, just too much worthless information involved with blood. So let’s eliminate the sin word and the blood word and move on to a more positive and productive relationship with our deity. (says satan) and Ignatius Loyola. Please allow me to explain how we got where we are now with the Love message. It’s called Ignatian Theology. Ignatius Loyola,-born October 23, 1491-died July 31, 1556. That’s any and all means necessary…..Murder, lying, cheating, stealing, infiltrating all world systems and agencies etc. (the end justifies the means) Ignatius Loyola designed and delivered “The Spiritual Exercises” for humankind to deepen their relationship with God by eliminating sin and blood . I’m a landlubber so you won’t find me “on” the sea, although, I love the Ocean but only when my feet are planted “firmly” on the ground, so I can be found “in” the sea. It is true though, that sometimes, actually, many times I found myself twirling through the water as the Ocean is an unpredictable giant of beauty and can sweep you away in the blink of an eye if you’re not paying close attention. it was last summer that it did just that… and I found myself being rescued by my Grandson.
This confession may create a funny picture to all who read it…so go ahead and laugh. The kids and grand-kids had a good old laugh as they helped hobble back to my beach chair.

Also, I’ve noticed that the Hymnals in the past 45-50 years that I’ve seen have eliminated the songs on the “Blood of Jesus.” How very sad.
There is no redemption without Blood!
I was happy to be play a piano selection for a 3 hour Good Friday Vigil in 2014. It was in a remote area, and there were several really good songs about the Blood of Jesus. The people present sang them out with all there might. It was very uplifting and the Holy Spirit was present.
In fact, I just remembered, I played a piano solo “Beneath the Cross of Jesus.” When I finished, a minister got up to speak and remarked with great surprise that he saw the image of a Cross right there on the floor that had just appeared. Several in the front pew came running up to look, and verified it. All I know is that I was really concentrating on the WORDS to that piano piece as I was playing.

Yes indeed Bill, the key word today is what has been labeled seeker sensitive. The bible is not meant to be seeker sensitive…..its meant to confront, excize, remove, heal. Whatever word you use to remove sin. The bible says a duck is a duck and it quacks.
Back in the old days preaching went to the point, not circling around the plate like a cat around hot porridge.
I am familiar with the extreme oath of the jesuits! In latin it is Iustum Necare Reges Impios. Which forms INRI, this is but a small part of their extreme oath but means what Bill stated above.
Men&Women who come to this blog represents what i have seen through my studies the ones representing the true original America.
And mine is a european perspective, you all should be proud of that. Though i know the bible says pride comes before downfall. Lets just call it a pride and rejoicing when one has found the Lord and stands in him.

THE PERSECUTED
Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Matthew 5:10-12
With our hunger and thirst for righteousness comes the promise of persecution for those who take a stand for God. We have not been called to safety and comfort but to serve in the midst of conflict. Persecution is not to be strenuously avoided, for it is the result of righteous living. To avoid it, one would have to cease living righteously.
The early church went through much persecution for their faith in Christ. It affected their livelihood. They had to ask themselves, Should a Christian craftsman create idols for the temples? Or should a tailor sew robes for heathen priests?
Persecution affected social and family life. Most feasts were held in the temple of some god. A common invitation would be dining at the table of such a god. Even an ordinary meal in a home began with a cup of wine poured out in honor of the gods, like grace before a meal. Could a Christian share in such a meal like that?
Severe persecution meant being flung to the lions, burned at the stake, or being wrapped in pitch and set alight to provide light for Nero’s palace gardens. Or it meant being sewn in animal skins and set upon by Nero’s hunting dogs. Christians were tortured on the rack; scraped with pincers; had molten lead poured on them; had red-hot brass plates fixed to the most tender parts of their bodies; had eyes torn out; had limbs cut off and roasted before their eyes; had hands and feet burned while cold water was poured over other parts to prolong agony.
Most of us have never in our lives made a real sacrifice for Jesus. To have to suffer persecution is to walk along the same road as the prophets, the saints, and the martyrs. To suffer persecution is to make things easier for those who are to follow. To suffer persecution is to experience the fellowship of Christ, as Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did in the furnace (Daniel 3:19-25). It is not always so dramatic, but it is nevertheless real. Most of us enjoy the blessing of liberty today because men and women in the past were willing to buy it for us at the cost of their own blood, sweat and tears.
RESPONSE: I will accept persecution, whether mild or hot, which comes as a result of righteous living.
PRAYER: Lord, encourage those today who are experiencing severe persecution for Your name.

Peggy, those hymns you mention are ones I am not familiar with. I only remember a few from my youth in the Lutheran Church and then some other ones from the Evangelical Church I attended back in the early 1980’s. Most of the Hymns I remember tend to be from the Traditional (non-contemporary) Southern Gospel groups.

Did anyone put notice to that strong cities group that was announced in the last Jason A video? The main target at the moment was islamic terrorism but how long before statements like I am the way, truth and life. And nobody comes to the Father except through me dont pass the radicalism filter.
They are targeting christians especially bible believing christians with these organisations.
Id say 2-5 years from now christians will be confronted by this system. Just observe it or at the latest once islamic radicalism has been done away with.

Good Morning Brother Stig, I’ve been appreciating your observations and comments… You exude evidence of your receiving Intuition from God The Holy Ghost by what you are saying. Instantly or immediately following “The Event”, whatever that may be, (natural disaster, pandemic, WAR, or a compilation of these atrocities, Christian persecution will hyperdrive. Any attempt to promote the Gospel Of Jesus Christ will be crushed. Perpetrators of World Law will be severely and publically punished. The slightest mention of sin, atoning blood, and by stating that Jesus is the only way to the Father will be a worldwide Capital crime.

Over 65% of the world has already entered into persecution. I believe that we in the West are next. The Bible tells us to expect persecution. Forewarned is Forearmed. We are to be armed with our spiritual weaponry as mentioned in the Word of God. One of the main weapons being the Word itself.

Stig, I may be wrong here, but I believe Christians here in America will be confronted by it this year. All is moving so very fast here. The elections/RNC etc are nothing but mere distractions. Praying over these men and women in blue and the bikers. The heaviness is so very intense. All the world is a stage and earth is groaning………As I said, I may be wrong and if so please forgive me. I just can’t see this going that long…………

Sonshine, I agree with you. Many have shared Prophecy and Prophetic Dreams that claim Obama is the Anti-Christ, and the Last United States President. If all of that is true — we will see Lizard start to show his real identity very soon. Lizard only has until 12-31-2016. That doesn’t mean the Lord will return before then, it just means we need to be prepared.

Stig, When the event happens,( War, pandemic, natural disaster, or a combination of any of these), Obama, the anti-Christ will declare martial law. He, at that point is World dictator because the U.S. constitution is legally abolished at that point and he will immediately be Head of the U.N. (a done deal already) The sovereignty of all nations is relinquished to the U.N. mandate. We don’t have 3 to 5 years.

Things are spiraling out Of control yes but the bible uses birthpangs as an analogy for endtime woes increasing. Now i being a father Of three have seen that pregnancies and birthpangs varies a great deal. Some are Very long and some like My second son was over like poof its there.
I have also this thought in the back Of My head that the return Of Jesus is linked to sabbatical years somehow. Maybe im Wrong but IF you count from the creation Of the earth to today and exclude the sabbaths forsaken by Israel for a that direction measure im seeing we have a difficult labor ahead with time before the baby or the birthpangs come to final.
Jesus Said pray its not on a sabbath day because then the woes would be like nothing ever seen. So IT is clearly linked to Sabbaths and in My estimate giving as some say one generation from 1967 Israels aqquiring Of the temple some 70-80 years from that the biblical definition Of a generation. We have a somekind Of guideline to follow.

Hi Stig, Nobody but nobody has a handle on this subject. I have been heavily involved in this study for years and so have many other people more knowledgeable than myself. There are so many different interpretations of last days events, it becomes a whirlwind of confusion. I stay clear of most of it these days. We live in a spiritual matrix. We see through a glass darkly. Our world is a spiritually generated dream world. I have the gift of intuition. That does not mean that everything I think I know is correct. It just means that some things are imparted to me directly from our God from time to time. I know when this occurs. My spirit testifies with The Holy Spirit of certain truths or information given me from Him. God did not tell me that Obama is the anti-Christ. There is a LOT that I believe that The Father did not instill in me, or inform me of. That doesn’t mean that I am wrong in what I believe, or what I think I know. I don’t know whether date setting is right or wrong. Neither does anyone else. It is my observation that the most sincere and learned of individuals who set dates have all been wrong when their prophetically projected dates arrive and pass without bearing fruit. Some subjects I consider safe subject to discuss. Other subjects are too dangerous to discuss so I don’t go there. If I had my own blog, I would stay with safe topics. Positive topics. Topics that would build up the body of Christ. James and Linda have positive and productive blog sites.

Stig-Ove, many of the news stories coming out appear to be targeting Christians. That’s even being done by Comedians and many others. You can see where the Elite, Obama Lizard Followers, Satanists and the truly mind-numbed misinformed groups are trying to establish all non-Muslim crimes as “Christian Radicals”. I still believe most of the news events we see are orchestrated ahead of time by the sulfur-dwelling, foul smelling, scumbags that are doing this all for the purpose of causing chaos and then introducing Martial Law. We can pray that all of their eyes are opened in time, so they repent for what they are doing.

As days continue to grow darker and evil surrounds on every side I ask if my ministry assignment would continue as before or be changed in any way. Here is what came into my spirit. I covet your prayers for discernment, knowledge and godly wisdom as I attempt to faithfully serve our LORD. ALL who call Jesus LORD are ministers of the Gospel, called by God to speak the Truth in love.
“Your assignment continues to be telling My people that their willful disobedience brings judgment. Judgment on both the just and the unjust alike. The just will see the day and rejoice, the unjust will cower in fear and trembling.
Tell My people, ‘repent, for the kingdom of God is at hand. I AM is coming soon, winnowing fork in My hand to separate wheat from tares. Repent My people – while time yet remains. I AM is a God of love, REPENT.'”

Daily Devotional — 07/20/16:
BEING SALT OF THE EARTH
“You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.” Matthew 5:13
Jesus is making a statement of fact here when he says, “You are the salt of the earth!” It is not a command or wish list. It is to be reality here and now. The implication is that we are to be what God has already made us to be.
The context is Christians facing persecution. Their numbers are small and they are insignificant. Salt is cheap in some places and expensive in others. We have the saying that a man is worth his weight in salt! Its value may vary yet it has unusual properties that far exceed its value.
This is what should happen when Christians take their stand for God in society. That stand for good renders society infertile for the growth of evil and ungodly influences. When England went through revival under the ministry of the Wesley’s and George Whitefield in the 18th century, a possible bloody revolution such as afflicted France was averted.
Usually it happens on a more moderate scale. Conversations moderated, consciences pricked, respect for others heightened.
The disciples’ of Christ do not remain silent about their faith. They do not hide themselves, but live and work in places where their influence may be felt. The light that is in them can then be most fully manifested to others so that they may see that the light of real Christian goodness. It is a light not of this world but coming from God, and may in consequence be led to give honor and praise to its Giver.
I was blessed to visit a seminary in Indonesia that reflects this teaching of Jesus. They are surrounded by a Muslim community where many live in poverty. Rather than live in an isolated enclave, the school and students serve this community with the love of Jesus. They teach literacy lessons; they provide first-aid medical care; they distribute food and clothing to the hungry and naked.
During an outbreak of violence by extremists against churches in the area, an angry Muslim mob approached the seminary one night chanting their slogans and waving their machetes. When they arrived at the buildings, they found a circle of Muslim people surrounding the campus holding hands in a large circle. They said to the extremists, “We will not allow you to destroy this school. These people help us and our children with all our needs. You may not harm them!” The mob disappeared.
Being salt and light in community also has its rewards.
RESPONSE: Today I resolve to live my life for Jesus in a way that will positively “salt” my community.
PRAYER: Help me, Lord, to stand for the good and be a salty influence for You in the world around me.

Two things about SALT:
1.) It is a preservative. (perhaps preserving so that Heaven is gained and the fires of hell will not touch)
2.) It can make one thirsty. If we are SALT, we should be naturally making others thirsty for the things of God.

My thoughts on this subject of setting dates or wondering about the time of Jesus and His second coming: Scripture tells us Jesus, Himself doesn’t even know the day or the hour. So I feel that any time spent trying to figure it out is time taken away from serving the Lord.
When I was a little girl and I asked my Dad, when is Jesus returning? He would always assure me…no one knows the time but God, it’s not for us to know. He would tell me to live my life one day at a time, serving the Lord, following His commandments, doing what is right, enjoy life but always keep yourself ready. He was stern in His direction when He would say, ” Do not worry”!
I believe that we should anticipate but not wish for this to happen and we should also not wish for a delay, we should go about doing His will, following His ways.
I know this, that as a people we tend to be problem solvers, looking for the answer to any issue or mystery. However, I truly believe in the case of Jesus returning we should just Worship and Praise Him, and await His Grand and Glorious entrance with humble anticipation.

I agree with you Vicki. So many False Prophets have come and gone over the years, that when true Prophets share things — people tend to ignore them. Look at all the panic people caused during the recent past — 1999 (2000) — remember that panic? What about 2012 — yet another panic. There’s been some newer recent “panic” events that have come and gone — but most claim that the “Lord Changed His Mind On” ! Wow & Wow Again! The Lord never changes. If he states he is going to do something, he will do it. He never says “Just Kidding or Never Mind”. I do believe judgments can be lessened by prayer, but False Prophets are every where these days. It’s so important we all have Discernment, Clarity and Wisdom. I think many that call themselves Prophets, don’t get confirmation on things before they share them. Some things may need to be held and released a later time? Some things may be just for a specific audience/person? Some things may be meant as a test of obedience?
Some are guilty of saying “Thus Sayeth The Lord” or “The Holy Spirit Said…” or “The Father Said This” — when the Lord had nothing to do with it. Sometimes it’s better to simply be quiet until we know for sure that what we are hearing is from the Lord by way of confirmation.

I forgot to say, the main thing is what Vicki mentioned — it’s more important that we stay ready all the time. We can do that by repenting, prayer, reading the word, praise/worship.
