I had the word “Sherpa” in my head the other morning when I woke up. I really did not know what that meant. Here’s the definition:
A member of a Himalayan people living on the borders of Nepal and Tibet, renowned for their skill in mountaineering.
(informal) : a civil servant or diplomat who undertakes preparatory political work prior to a summit conference.
I shared this with my sister and what came to mind was Psalms 121. The definition of Sherpa mentions those skilled in mountaineering. It also mentions those who are preparing for a conference. A note of thanks to Linda, for her assistance on this.
Many may be called to “Go Out” by the Lord. This will require total obedience and trust in the Lord. I believe many are being called out to do this in preparation for the final harvest of souls.
Psalms 121 (Common English Version)
I raise my eyes toward the mountains.
Where will my help come from?
2 My help comes from the Lord,
the maker of heaven and earth.
3 God won’t let your foot slip.
Your protector won’t fall asleep on the job.
4 No! Israel’s protector
never sleeps or rests!
5 The Lord is your protector;
the Lord is your shade right beside you.
6 The sun won’t strike you during the day;
neither will the moon at night.
7 The Lord will protect you from all evil;
God will protect your very life.
8 The Lord will protect you on your journeys—
whether going or coming—
from now until forever from now.
