There is Power in the Blood

I have had severe back pain since lat night, and this song came to mind:

Revelation 12

11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death.

Matthew 10

8 Cure the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, drive out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Are You Washed In The Blood Of The Lamb?

Matthew 26

28 For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is being poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

Romans 5

While we were yet in weakness, at the fitting time Christ died for the ungodly.

Hebrews 10

29 How much worse punishment do you suppose he will be judged to deserve who has spurned and trampled underfoot the Son of God, and who has considered the covenant blood by which he was consecrated common and unhallowed, thus profaning it and insulting and outraging the [Holy] Spirit [Who imparts] grace (the unmerited favor and blessing of God)?

Revelation 22

14 Blessed are those who cleanse their garments, that they may have the authority and right to the tree of life and to enter through the gates into the city.

John 3

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He gave up His only begotten Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

  1. Amen JC – left a prayer for you on other site – I do know that pain you have as well – at times I could only crawl on my hands and knees to get around the house – may our love and His blood cover you brother – and we know with confidence it does – as we patiently wait for your mighty hand to heal us Lord. Amen.

  2. When a mosquito bites a true believer, it sings “There’s Power in the Blood”!

Sadly, just about all of the songs about “The Blood” have been removed from current church hymnals. “Onward Christian Soldiers” has long been removed as well.

    1. Truly sad Peggy. It’s unfortunate that the majority of churches would rather send out feel good messages and also just have “happy” tunes that sometimes resembles a concert hall! I’m not talking about Christian Groups that sing — just the churches. Everyone seems to enjoy the False teachings, No use of the Bible, Snacks, Bake Sales, Cotton Candy– I’m sure some of these Churches have an ATM in their lobby, to make cash-flow easier.
