There are times we may have a feeling of being unworthy to receive what the Lord has to give us.  All we need to do is ask the Lord to forgive us of all our sins every day.  Rebuke the evil thoughts that come your way, as it’s not true.  The Lord has given everyone this free gift, we just need to come to him.

We are all sinners while on this earth, and the closer we draw to the Lord, the little demons will do their best in trying to place doubt or temptation in your way.  Praise the father through his son Jesus.  Jesus took on the burdens for us, we just need to believe in him.  Trust the Lord no matter what may come, as he is always true to his word.

Remember to always forgive everyone, pray for our enemies, be kind to strangers and above all forgive those that may be about to kill us for our beliefs.  Study the word.  I find it helpful to use online bible studies and get a lot of insight from those sharing messages on blogs, and other formats.

We need to keep everyone in prayer, so more may come to the Lord before it is too late.  The only one who is worthy to be praised, is God the father and Jesus.  Let the Holy spirit guide us in the time ahead.

Philippians 4:8  From now on, brothers and sisters, if anything is excellent and if anything is admirable, focus your thoughts on these things: all that is true, all that is holy, all that is just, all that is pure, all that is lovely, and all that is worthy of praise.

  1. I once heard a person say ‘How do you stop a thought?’ Just an insignificant little phase in the scheme of thing’s most will say. However, this has always stuck with me, and you cannot stop a thought whether what you could interprete as evil, or just some random thought back to when you was a child in school or having an incounter with an individual long gone out of your life, any of which has little or no meaning to you now in the present.
What we can do however is control those thoughts, and to some degree how much impact those thoughts may play on our emotional part of ourselves. What we can all 100% do is not take any physical activity on our emotional thoughts, especially as you need a lot of self control where you are convinced, physical retribution may be the only justified course of action to take, for some past sin against you or someone close to you in your life, whether recently or in the far past.
When an individual or two hurts you physically or emotionally, that person always looks for balance by hurting back, it’s natural human behaviour, no more no less, but what you have to think about when your looking for revenge, payback, or whatever you may call it, is when your chasing the monster you don’t become the monster or worse.
If your left with anger or emense pain, that ‘Hate’ then begins to consume you, in so many bad way’s their too numerous to count. These feelings your left with will turn you into a continuous victim, and maybe ultimately the perpetrator, which in it’s self has it’s own consequences bringing more pain and torment for the individual seeking retribution.
The only way out of this is more to seek forgiveness for one’s self, which could be interpreted as forgiveness for the individual who bought a great deal of deep down lasting pain to you, akin, to having a throne constantly in your side,
If this hurt is carried around with you indefinitely, then you have lost, lost more than once, the person who committed sins against you, owns part of you, part of your emotional self, until you ‘Learn’ to let it go and you totally learn to get your own emotional self back, so it is not part owned by some callous nobody and you can give it to those who deserve your attention fully in life, for example your close loved one’s and not wasted elsewhere.
It’s been said time and again that the best ‘Revenge’ is to prosper and do well in life, not just monetary wise, however, relationship wise. Don’t throw yourself into fully focused, hateful pride driven sinful revenge it will ultimately consume you more than your intended target ever will, put down your weaponry of hate, turn your back and walk away, and enjoy the love from those who need and want you.
Maybe Jesus was trying to portray the message of ‘Forgive yourself, albeit, turn into the monster you are chasing’
Maybe Jesus is trying to warn the unsuspecting not to be lost to the devil, like the sinner him/herself are unexpectedly heading for.
Forgive other’s to forgive yourself? His word’s are spoken, so as not to lose his good people to a sinful hell for eternity.
I don’t know what you will make of what I’ve said, or what the real truth behind his words really are, but if it keeps you on the right path, I expect it can’t be to far wrong?

    1. Jason, thanks for sharing those insightful words. Maybe they will touch someone that has or is going through some painful emotions right now. May the Lord heal us from past hurt, soften our anger and allow his love to show through us in the form of love to others. In Jesus name. Amen.
