I am concerned about gossip that we can get wrapped up in.  We all need to be aware of those preaching lies, prosperity and sugar-coated gospel.  My real concern is for those that are spreading rumors about God’s Children “True Christians”.  When we gossip about people that “we think” are guilty of something evil, we are feeding the demonic attacks.  We can persuade someone into thinking badly about a brother or sister, when that person has no idea what you are talking about.  If somebody passes on gossip to you about a known brother or sister — stop spreading it and pray for that person!

Leviticus 19:16

Proverbs 16:28

A perverse man spreads strife, And one who gossips separates intimate friends.

Proverbs 20:19

He who goes about as a gossip reveals secrets; Therefore do not associate with a gossip [who talks freely or flatters].

2 Corinthians 12:20

Now at the same time, they also learn to be idle as they go from house to house; and not only idle, but also gossips and busybodies [meddlers in things that do not concern them], talking about things they should not mention.

2 Timothy 3:3

[and they will be] unloving [devoid of natural human affection, calloused and inhumane], irreconcilable, malicious gossips, devoid of self-control [intemperate, immoral], brutal, haters of good,
